BTC bull Mike Novogratz recommeds you hold more gold than bitcoin

This is not going to be a Gold vs. Bitcoin post.  I promise!

If you are into crypto investments you surely have heard of Mike Novogratz.  It might, however, surprise you that he recently recommended people hold more gold than bitcoin in their portfolios.  With the price of gold just shy of its all-time high price, many gold bugs are raving and downplaying BTC, but why would a serious crypto supporter such as Novogratz issue such a statement?

The answer is pretty much what we kind of all knew all along:

My sense is that Bitcoin way outperforms gold, but I would tell people to have a lot less Bitcoin than they have gold, just because of the volatility.

Bitcoin is still hard to buy. If it was easier to buy, it would be a lot higher. And there are more and more people making it easier to buy: funds being set up, custodies being done, at one point we’ll get an ETF.

I personally fall into the category of an investor who is bullish on both cryptocurrencies and precious metals.  While I also believe that with time cryptocurrencies will outperform gold and silver, investing in physical metals has a long proven track whereas the laws and regulations revolving around crypto investments are still being constantly refined.

To end, a quick shameless plug.  My absolute favorite way to buy and sell precious metals is through a company called OneGold.  OneGold makes it incredibly easy to purchase and sell physical metal assets, as well as store them in a secure vault, removing the need for the investor to secure their assets at home.  You can get $5 to try out the service and buy your first sliver of metal using my referral link: https://www.onegold.com/join/d637cfe858944b4ab62238bea52d2ad2

Happy investing!
