Happy 2025 Splinterlands Summoners! A new season has already started and the grind continues in 2025. Still over thirteen days left in the season, I already have over 30,000 Glints and 200 SPS. I'm expecting my earnings this season will surpass my previous ones.

Hall of Legends

Meanwhile, new cards are introduced in the Hall of Legends.

Rare card Warborn Shaman and Legendary Fizbo the Fabolous are available for those who are willing to buy them.

Warborn Shaman is a tank type while Fizbo the Fabolous is a support type. Both of them deal 3 magic damage at max levels. Let's look at each card in detail.

Warborn Shaman

The Warborn Shaman is a Water and Death Splinter. At max levels, she deals 3 magic damage, has 3 speed, 4 armor and 8 health.

Abilities:

Void armor - Magic damage hits armor before health.
Impede - Minus 1 to target's speed after each successful attack.
Ambush - Takes an extra turn prior to the first round of battle.
Poison - 50% chance to apply Poisoned after each successful attack.
Heal - restores 1/3 of max health each round.

Being a tank, I like her abilities that complement her role. Her Ambush and Poison abilities also help deal damage to the enemy tank while her Impede slows it down. She has Void Armor against magic casters and can also heal herself which is great for a tank. She costs 3,000 DEC per BCX.

Fizbo the Fabolous

Fizbo the Fabolous is a Fire and Earth Splinter. At max levels he deals 3 magic damage, has 3 speed, 2 armor and 4 health.

Abilities:

Tank Heal - restores 1/3 of max health each round to the allied unit in first position.
Shroud of Reflection Shield - Adjacent units gain Reflection Shield at the start of battle.
Affliction - 50% to apply Afflicted after each successful attack.

Fizbo the Fabolous is a good support unit as well as a damage dealer. He can also prevent his target from healing. However, it's up to you if you think 50,000 DEC per BCX is a reasonable price for him.

My Thoughts on the New Cards

The new cards are great and will be a welcome addition to our deck. They offer new strategies and possibilities in battle. On the other hand, they cost a lot and you will have to consider if you really want to invest in them. Between the two, I'm more inclined to have the Warborn Shaman because her stats and abilities fit well to her role as a tank. Being a magic damage dealer, you also have the choice to position her anywhere. She can also be good as off tank or put in the back line.
