Hello Splinterlands Summoners. It's time once again to spend some Glints on reward chests after season ends. I'm looking forward to this since there are still cards that I want to upgrade and epic cards that I don't have yet.
First I spent some Glint on 8 reward chests.
Buying 8 Epic Chests

I got two new cards in Night Reaper and Thanalorian Blade. I also got additional BCX of Khazi Conjurer, Olivia the Brook and Halfling Refugee. I'm looking forward to upgrading Olivia and the Halfling but it will probably take 2 seasons or more before I can have them at a decent level.
Here are the epic cards I have so far.

Next I bought a hundred common chests. Aside from Luceheim Demon, I haven't used my common cards yet. The common cards will be usable once I get them to level 5 or higher.
Buying 100 Common Chests
Here's the link for the card opening and the cards that I was able to upgrade.

Giant Alpine Skink

The most promising of the common cards aside from Luceheim Demon. It will be a proper tank once it gets Phase at level 5. However, it competes with Commander Slade for a spot in my Water deck. I will probably use it if the situation calls for it. Otherwise, Commander Slade is my main tank.
Blackmoor Wild Elf

The Blackmoor Wild Elf is a nice addition to my magic team. She deals two damage and has decent speed. I'm not sure about her abilities though. She competes for a slot in my magic team with Djinn Bilja who has similar damage but costs less mana.
Nibledook Explorer

The Nibledook Explorer buffs the team with a shield and will have an attack once she gets the Armored Strike ability at level 5. She could be useful in low mana battles.
Broken Earth Thug

The Broken Earth Thug is a good addition to the Death team. At only 3 mana it deals decent melee damage and has the Opportunity ability. At level 4, it gain the Cripple ability which is a great counter against teams with healers.
Tokatag Conscript

This card is not easy to find use in battle. It costs 6 mana but only deals 1 ranged damage. I haven't found a situation or ruleset yet where it can be of optimal use.
Ujurak Elder

The Ujurak Elder is another magic damage card. It only costs 3 mana so I can probably slot this in low mana battles. At level 5 it gains the Strengthen ability which is a great support skill.
Looking Forward to the Next Season
I'm looking forward to the next season as Splinterlands gave an exciting update on the rewards system.
As posted in discord, there will be loot chests for league-tier advancement. We can receive loot chests on our first advancement to a tier within the season. If we you rank up from Silver 3 to Silver 2, you will receive 7 loot chests.

Thank you for reading and have fun playing Splinterlands!
