Get Ready for Holozing, the Next Big Game on Hive!

Holowhat?

If you haven't heard of HoloZing yet, it's one of my favorite upcoming projects on Hive. It's a trading card game (TCG) similar to Pokemon where players capture NFT creatures and obtain NFT items. The creatures can then be trained and used by players in PvP battles. The game a passion project by @acidyo, a longtime Hive user and contributor.

Imagine a futuristic world where global gaming networks are as common as today's top gaming companies. Futuristic gamers catch creatures, level them up and battle with other players. That's the role HoloZing players will take.

Play to Earn

The game is a play to earn model. Players can earn the in-game token $ZING which can be traded in hive-engine. If you like Pokemon then this game will not only be fun, it will also give you the opportunity to earn some crypto tokens as well.

On the other hand, $ZING will be needed to enable players to do things in the game such as recharging items, crafting and upgrading gears, crafting consumables and many others.

Game Status

The game is still in development but is close to alpha per update of the game founder. Alpha Vials are for sale in the shop. It gives owners a chance for a powerful starter creature and alpha-designed starter items. It will only be available for the Alpha duration of the game and will be replaced by Beta Vials as the game enters Beta. Alpha starter creatures cannot be captured in the wild but will continue to be sold in future vials with much lower drop-chance.

Having a vial in your inventory will earn you $ZING daily. You can also delegate HP to @zingtoken or stake $ZING tokens to earn more $ZING.

Recently, a non-tradable currency, Holodust has been released and can be collected daily starting 1st December. This will be used primarily to craft in-game items together with $ZING.

Creatures

Similar to Pokemon, players will have a number of creatures in their care. Players will level up these creatures and use them in battle against other players.

How do I Join HoloZing?
