Hello Moon Kart Racers! I bought some tech cards and accessories to upgrade the performance of my kart.
Unfortunately, I was only able to equip one of them. It seems I need to upgrade my kart to higher levels to open up slots for tech cards and accessories. Anyway, let's dive in to what tech cards do.
Tech Cards
As you can see from the above, there are four tech card slots but I was only able to use one slot. I need to merge cards and upgrade my kart to open up the other slots.
The tech cards are as follows: Engine, Tire, Body Kit and Gearbox. Let's go through them one by one.
Engine Tech Cards
The engine tech cards provide speed boost to karts. There are four rarities each with increasing boosts. The higher the rarity, the higher the boost. However, higher rarity cards have some negative side effects.
Rarity Boost Side Effect
Common 3% -
Rare 7% -
Epic 15% Acc -2%
Legendary 25% Hnd -5%
Tire Tech Cards
Tire tech cards will give boost to handling to better control the karts on managing turns.
Rarity Boost Side Effect

Rare 7% -
Epic 15% Acc -2%
Legendary 25% Spd -5%
Body Kit Tech Cards
The body kit tech cards will provide health and durability boosts to karts.
Rarity Boost Side Effect
Common 3% -
Rare 7% -
Epic 15% -
Legendary 25% Acc -5%
Gearbox Tech Cards
Gearbox gives boost on acceleration providing and advantage to situations where quick bursts of speed are needed.
Rarity Boost Side Effect
Common 3% -
Rare 7% -
Epic 15% Spd -2%
Legendary 25% Hnd -5%
Conclusion
Based on the stats above, it looks to me that the for beginners the common cards are good enough to get a feel on how the tech cards affect one's game. Serious racers who want to be competitive in the game but don't want to break the bank can consider the epic cards which gives a huge boost at 15% compared to rares at 7%. Sure there are negative side effects but this will be compensated by other epic cards that you will put in the slot.
