My background has primarily been in traditional finance and banking working in investment advisory across multiple large private banks. During my time in the banking industry I was extremely fascinated by the crypto industry and started trading and arbitraging crypto markets back in 2017.

Hey, my name is Sharaa Miran. I am from Norway and currently based in the US. I have been involved with crypto for many years and I got the opportunity to join the IX Swap team in May 2021. I was very excited about IX Swap because it wasn’t a crypto project that had no use case or that was similar to other projects. It was a project that wanted to make a huge difference in the financial world which I really liked the idea of. At IX Swap I am an investment analyst, but I also do lots of business development.

IX Swap is building the “Uniswap” of the Security Token (STO)/Tokenized Stock (TSO) industry, solving the key liquidity problem of the industry, which is caused by a lack of market makers and strict licensing requirements.
We will be the FIRST platform to provide liquidity pools and automated market making functions for the security token (STO) & tokenized stock industry (TSO). IX Swap will facilitate trading of security tokens through licensed custodians and security brokers, providing actual ownership and claim over these real world assets.
IX Swap is taking real world assets that are considered securities from TradFi (CeFi) and allowing them to be traded in a DeFi way; Taking property, VC funds, private companies, livestock etc. and allowing them to be traded in a decentralized fashion like what we see in Uniswap.
Q1. One of the characteristics of blockchain assets, and even more so DeFi, is that they do not have any type of regulation, right? So could you tell us about how the STO tokens will have a certain regulation? And will they be regulated because they are related to traditional assets?
Yes, STOs/TSOs are regulated given that they are securities by nature. As such they are regulated by security laws across the world. As you would’ve seen over the last few months, regulation unfortunately, as much as we might not want it, is creeping into the cryptosphere.
You would’ve seen that with Binance with everything they’ve been through in the last few months getting their operations suspended in multiple countries and now they’re starting to take regulations more seriously. Similarly, Uniswap has had some issues as well with the SEC. As much as we like it or not regulation is coming to the crypto world.
Q2. I read that IxSwap is aiming to build a bridge on the existing gap between CeFi and DeFi, can you tell us more about this? How will IxSwap be able to do this? Also, what kind of benefits will users get from this bridging you are trying to do?
Yes, we do want to position ourselves between the best of both the CeFi and DeFi worlds. 🙂

Basically, by using blockchain technology, liquidity pools, and automated market makers from the DeFi world and having IX Swap in the middle with STO’s and TSO’s and the private markets on the other side we are combining these worlds together into letting everyone invest everywhere in the private markets. From assets that have been qualified the most illiquid to the most liquid assets. We want to enable everyone with liquidity and give the world the best from both worlds.
The benefits of this are that users are getting the best technology out there and can with IX Swap legally trade all assets!
Q3. You have indicated that #IXS holders can receive shares of the swap fees. Does this share depend on the amount or the value they hold? Do you have different tiers of staking based on the value and the time period? What can we do to maximize our rewards?
Currently the share of the swap fees has not started as the platform is due to go live in 1Q2022. Once that happens, our token holders will be able to stake those tokens and receive rewards in proportion to their staking commitments. Q4. How does #IX_SWAP create Universally Automated Liquidity by optimizing Liquidity pool rebalancing with a trusted Security level? And what kind of Liquidity do you promise your token holders?
The team is always up to date with the recent and newest technology out there to keep our users safe and also conducting security audits as well. We have recently done one and we have several more in scope with different auditors. Here is the report of our most recent security audit.
Our token is currently being traded on Kucoin & Uniswap and soon to be other platforms!
We cannot like any other project foresee the future 🔮But the private markets are currently valuated at $7.5 Trillion, opening up an untapped marketing bringing liquidity to all these illiquid private assets.
Q5. Can you give list 1-3 killer features of this project that makes it ahead of its competitors? What is the competitive advantage your project has that you feel most confident about?
You’re right! We do want to position ourselves between the best of both the CeFi and DeFi worlds.

So yes
IX Swap doesn't really have any competitors today, we see potential to work with any STO platform or issuer seeking liquidity solutions and already forging some strong partnerships that see the value in the service IX Swap provides.
But to mention some killer futures: Very experienced and skilled team, licenses to operate in this space, and our liquidity solution! But yes there are some other projects that have platforms trading STO’s and TSO but they are operating as centralized exchanges and their main issue if having the right licenses is the liquidity problem.
The STO market will grow to a Trillion dollar marketplace, we want to be the leader, but not the only one, the securities market is simply too big, but being 1st mover, we have a good advantage at this stage.
Q6. For a project development first of all main priority is having enough fund. Does your team financially capable to run this project? Do you have enough fund for it's developement Can you tell us that how your project generate the profit?
Yes! Investors are very interested in IX Swap because they also see the future being tokenized. We have not had a issue maxing our funding rounds and when our platform is live IX Swap takes X % of fees for all swapping just like other protocols.
Q7. How many team members do you have? Do they have enough experience in the blockchain field? Do they have any experience on working in crypto and non-crypto project?

Q9. Did you consider community feedback/requests during the creation of your product in order to expand on fresh ideas for your project? Many projects fail because the target audience and clients are not understood. So I'd like to know who your ideal consumer is for your product?
Of course we had to run the project with many people to check and also we are always taking peoples considerations into play into our process. Especially our community because those are the ones that will turn into actually using the platform! Our ideal customer are people from all around the world with all types of backgrounds
Q10. Is your platform suitable for Crypto beginners? Or does it only appeal to professional users?Staking is a major sector for an investor ! Do u have any plan for setting up staking for your nfts ?
Yes! It will be very suitable for crypto beginners as well! We will keep the process simple and provide educational materials for those that find this hard.
Q11. Do you have an ambassador program available? If yes, how can I join it? And may I know what’s the benefit available for the ambassador?

Q12. Regulation is very important. Many projects were closed in many countries due to failure to use the correct regulations and permits. In order to go global how does your team deal with these issues?
We already have licences required for this space!
