All the article and images are taken from a news source that I like to use and an alternative to CoinTelegram called BeInCrypto

BeInCrypto is a news website founded in August 2018 that specialises in cryptographic technology, privacy, fintech, and the Internet — among other related topics. The primary goal of the website is to inject transparency into an industry rife with disingenuous reporting, unlabelled sponsored articles, and paid news masquerading as honest journalism. You can visit their website by clicking here or join their new Telegram Trading channel by clicking here. I am also part of that group and like the content they are discussing. There is a lot of news that came out last week, So let's get started!

For some reason, Coinbase was seemingly completely unresponsive as Bitcoin crashed less than two days before its halving. The leading cryptocurrency dropped $1,500 in less than an hour. It’s become something of a running joke that Coinbase seems to go down whenever there’s a surge in demand or a drastic drop. Again, the exchange failed to stay online during the most recent price collapse, according to social media posts. Is this just a system overloaded that can't take capacity? or something more sinister? To read the full article, click here.

“Google searches for ‘Bitcoin halving’ have exceeded 300% of the volume seen before the 2016 halving event,” as pointed out by Casa Co-Founder and CTO Jameson Lopp on Twitter. The massive interest in the event, what it means for Bitcoin, and how it relates to fiat currency during the crisis appear to be driving the search explosion. Taken as a whole, the nation still enjoys a commanding share of the total Bitcoin hashrate. However, mining in China seems to be reasonably well distributed across the vast landmass.
