Splinterlands | Stampede Battle Challenge

This week another fun game rule in the Share Your Battle Challenge which now also is called 'Battle Mage Secrets" in Splinterlands. This is the Stampede Rule.

Stampede is one of those rules where if you get it right, you really can totally crush your opponent. Especially the Legendary Possibilus The Wise Summoner which gives all monsters this ability is most suited for this rule. With lower mana available I tend to go with the Tyrus Paladium Life Summoner combined with the Sacred Unicorn as that has trample and Poercing with plenty of options to keep it alive.

Overall I see this as a really fun rule that brings some interesting action and diversity to games.

With The Water Summoner not available, I opted for the Life Splinter.

The strategy was to play my Scared Unicorn as the main tank to do damage possibly triggering the stampede ability multiple times. As a way to protect it, I played the Iziar in last place to direct the damage even though I only have it at level 1 so far. In 2nd placed I put the Djinn Renova since it can heal itself or the Izia to keep that and my Sacred Unicorn alive for longer protecting against blast. The Silvershield Assassin always is good for some serious damage output given the blast game rule. The Silvershield Sheriff also works excellent with these rules given the Snipe + blast + Piercing while protecting all monsters with +2 Armor. In 2nd last place I played Runi since it is protected against blast with damage directed to the moster behind it.

I really liked my line-up on this one but it still ended up being quite the close game which kind of shows how powerful the Immortalis Summoner is.
