Splinterlands | Silenced Summoners Battle Challenge

This week a game rule where some specific summoners give an advantage in the Share Your Battle Challenge which now also is called 'Battle Mage Secrets" in Splinterlands. This is the Silenced Summoners Rule.

Whenever this game rule comes up, there is 1 card that is pretty much a must for me which is my 3 Mana Camila Sungazer Dragon Summoner. Since Summoners don't give any benefits, the best ones are those with the lowest cost that are Dragon Summoners which allow more mana to be used on monsters and give more card options with the dragon cards. Aside from this I like this game rule because it allows for balanced deck building not just forcing players

There are 4 of these summoners that directly give a benefit for this game rule with the Prince Julian at 2 mana cost as the absolute best one. Since there are only 83 of that card available it's crazy expensive. The match I played also had reverse speed while only ranged monsters were available.

My go-to deck when getting the Ranged only rule is the Water Summoner which was not available here so I opted to combine the Dragon Summoner with the War Chaang as my main tank which offers some melee damage. The Molten Ash Golem, Lava Launcher, & Tinderlock are all ranged cards that can attack from first position which is the main reason I played them. It was an option to play the tinderlock in last position since it gets increased stats in case it's the last one standing. I however opted to play the Fire Demon and the Naga Assassin in the back. With that last one I forgot about the Reverse Speed rule making it a clear deck building mistake

My opponent had some interesting choices which simply were better than mine neglecting the attack from 1st position but instead go for armor and a nicely placed monster with the Martyr ability. If for sure is a combination I will keep in the back of my mind the next time I get this setup.
