Splinterlands | Lost Legendaries Battle Challenge

Another game rule in the Share Your Battle Challenge which is also called the Battle Mage Secrets for Splinterlands. This is the rule where No Legendaries can be used!

When there are low mana matches, the combination of Dragon and Death summoner is what I usually go for. This was the case for this battle where there was only 1 game rule which was the one where no Legendary Monsters could be used with 20 Mana to be used.

The Camila Sungazer is one of the Summoners I often play in lower mana battles as it allowed mana to be used elsewhere and it also gives access to some of the powerful Dragon Monsters. I like the Redeption Ability in these lower mana battles as it does a lot % damage based on the total health that is on the board. I played the Cursed Slimeball in first anticipating it to get killed quite quickly and doing 6 damage in total at the cost of 1 Mana. Also the Life Sapper with the redemption ability in 4th place to also have some Magic Damage. As the main tank I played the Haunted Spirit which i recently got to level 7. Since I already had Melee of the opponent reduces, this one countered Magic Attack. The Vruz always is a good low mana choice and has the option to give 2 other monsters extra stats. The Ravenhood Warden I consider as one of the stronger and more useful cards in the game as it has 3 highly useful abilities. And the Crazy high speed of the 2-mana ranged monster Naga Assassin increases the chance of the opponent to miss and stay along longer while being nearly sure to do damage.

It turned out into an easy win also because I have been upgrading my cards to max level again showcasing the extreme Pay2Win aspect of Splinterlands. For new players who aren't willing to throw a ton of money at the game it is highly frustrating and I would say it holds back the onboarding. I still would like to see a fun game mode where an entry fee is needed as an indirect way to earn packs putting everyone at a level playing field. This ways players can come in without a real investment requirement and have fun helping the entire ecosystem.
