Splinterlands | Going the Distance Battle Challenge

Only Ranged Monsters could be used in the Share Your Battle Challenge which is also called the Battle Mage Secrets for Splinterlands. This is the Going the Distance Rule Set!

What I wrote last time this was the game rule is...

I usually choose Water or Fire since those teams have some monsters who are powerful for this game rule. Their summoners are also good and the dragon summoner which reduces Ranged damage by -1 is also a solid option.

I did play a game on my alt account with this rule where the other 2 rules were that summoners don't give abilities and up to 5 monsters could be used.

Both my opponent and me opted for the Fire Class cards and a Martyr ability. I played the Venari Marksrat in first place to increase the stats on my Molten Ash Golem which can attack from 1st place. I had a 2nd Martyr monster with the Firecaller in 3rd place with an eye to increase the stats of the Lava Launcher which I played in the back as it was the most powerful monster.

This battle was a showcase of the issue of bots who try to extract value in Wild with all the cheapest and low-level cards which is a real issue along with many others in Splinterlands right now.
