Blogging requires engagement.

Blogging is popular among Internet users. It is easy to write and publish blogs. Readers can choose what to read and write comments.

• A blog with huge views is incomplete unless comments are written on it.

However, some blogging platforms have interesting features, such as disabling commenting. The authors, for some reason, can deactivate the commenting feature. Nobody can write comments on such blogs.

In my humble opinion, a blog without engaging comments is meaningless.

Comments and replies are real gems of a blog.

• Viewpoints and opinions are essential for any writing, especially blogging.

In the past, writers of literature, stories, and novels used to get fan mail.

• Readers used to send their opinions directly to the writers.

• The writers could get reactions consisting of appreciation and criticism from their readers.

Good writers used to improve their future writings by knowing their readers' expectations.

Comments are like precious stones, and each reflects different spectra of light.

• Comments and replies to the comments are essential to complete the cycle of engagements.

Sometimes, comments are not connected well. Then, they reflect different ideas in diverse directions, similar to light dispersion through a prism in its constituent colors.

• Or, sometimes, a new frequency or color emission results from disjoint comments. In that sense, I consider every comment useful and bear some value.

Concluding appeal

• Support a blog when you like the title of a blog.

• When you have some time, quickly read the blog.

If, and only if, you have something to suggest on the topic or add a related idea, don't hesitate writing a comment.

• Bloggers also are expected to reply to relevant comments.

Disjoint comments may be ignored or filtered if so required.

• And, if you don't like the blog title, ignore it.
