The "Collectif à Contresens" presents "No Parking" an album and a concert tour conceived and created in the southern state of Tamil Nadu, India. The album was made through a collaboration with indian composers, musicians and technicians from KM Music Conservatory founded by Dr. AR Rahman, Oscar winning music composer for the movie "Slumdog Millionaire". With French lyrics placed on Indian music genres, the album dwells on stories relation to "Transports" and poetically evokes the feelings and emotions of travelling. The musicians involved recorded 14 songs at the studios of the prestigious Academy of A.R. Rahman. It was then presented on stage during the month of December 2017 in Chennai as well as in France from June 1st to 15th, 2018. In this unique album, the south indian language – Tamil seamlessly blends in, teasint the Moliere's language and brings us somewhere in between France and India, somewhere in between the compass of french song alongside electro music and world music genres.
