Shibacals, a unique real world component of Shiba Inu ecosystem, has recently announced the launch of NFT collectibles for Busta Rhymes. This NFT collection will be known as 'Celebrities NFT Collectibles'.
This comes as a major positive development for Shiba Inu ecosystem as the objective of launching Shibacals last year has a major impact on Shibarium marketplace. To understand the major implications, let's take a closer look.
What is Shibacals?
In case you aren't aware, Shibacals is a Shiba Inu backed platform that integrates physical goods and printable NFT collectibles embedded with an NFC chip. Shibacals also provide an online shopping store for such physical items. All physical items at Shibacals store are authenticated collectibles via NFCC (Near Field Communication Chips).
Who is Busta Rhymes?
The other part of the collaboration is Busta Rhymes which is a pseudonym for Trevor George Smith Junior, a 13 time Grammy Award nominee. He is a distinguished American rapper and songwriter and regarded as one of the legendary rappers of all time.
Implications of Shibacals and Busta Rhymes Collaboration on Shiba Inu Ecosystem
Shiba Inu top developer Shytoshi Kusama has recently been very vocal regarding the upcoming developmens in Shiba Inu ecosystem. Considering that this collaboration will provider wider acknowledgement to the bridging of NFTs with Real World Assets, we may see a positive response from the market as well.
So far, it seems that NFTs arena need to resurrect itself and celebrity endorsement can provide that vital supplement to the decaying health of NFT marketplace.
With 'Chooky feat. Busta Rhymes' is all set to appear next year, this collaboration may boost Shibarium ecosystem. Interestingly, Busta Rhymes has taken kern interest in the promotion of this collaboration. Posting on X, he announced that the collectibles drop for 'Chooky feat' are exclusive, authenticated and limited.
If this gets successful, it will prove to be a paradigm shift where more Cryptocurrency platforms would endorse celebrities for promotion. Also it is something that is a 'look forward to' development in the Shiba Inu ecosystem.
What do you think about this collaboration between Shibacals and Busta Rhymes? Will this be enough to resurrect NFTs?
