I'm sure you've all heard of Crypto.com (CRO, now Cronos). They've done massive marketing campaigns including a Super Bowl commercial with Matt Damon, F1 advertising, purchasing the LA Lakers stadium, now known as Crypto.com Arena and much more. During the end of 2021 bull market, CRO pumped from $0.13 to a staggering $0.90, over a 600% gain in just under two weeks. It's currently sitting around $0.145, but has held steady, and even had a couple green days amidst the red.
There has been a few "controversial" things come up, including the cutting of rates on stable coins on their earn platform and dropping some of the free perks for card holders although they have since added other rewards in their place. One of the main reason I like Cronos, is because of their Crypto Earn. Looking at the Cronos token, you can earn in a couple different ways.
As you can see, the rates vary a bit. For the Flexible Earn rate, you earn 2%p.a. (per annum or, per year) on your Cronos. You can take your tokens out at any time you choose with no wait time, and you get paid on your earn every week. For the one month term, you earn 4%p.a. on your first $3,000, 2%p.a. on your next $27,000, and then 0.6%p.a. on anything over that $30,000. There is a minimum hold time of one month, but after that you can retrieve your tokens at any time. The three month term locks your tokens for a minimum of three months, after which you can withdraw your tokens at any time, and has a similar rate tier to the one month term. Your first $3,000 earns you 6%p.a., your next $27,000 gets you 3%p.a. and anything over $30,000 earns you 0.9%p.a.
In order to allocate your token to earn, you have to go to the "Accounts" tab on your home screen.
Click on "Crypto Earn", and it will bring you to a screen that looks like this:
Click on the (+) towards the top right of the screen and it will bring up a list of coins that you can earn on. Click Cronos (or whatever token/coin you wish to earn) and it brings up a list of the different terms you can select, as I posted above. REMEMBER: if you select anything other that the "Flexible" option, your tokens/coins will be locked for 1-3 months! The minimum amount you can use to earn is 500 CRO, or about $74 at the time.
Another thing I like about Crypto.com is their missions. Crypto.com rewards you for using their app, with diamonds which you can earn a variety of ways, including enabling 2FA on your account, creating an Anti-Phishing code so when they email you, you know it's legitimately from them, making recurring buys, logging in every day and clicking the "Status Check" and much more! There is a store where you can spend these diamonds you earn with such prizes as NFTs, PSG Stadium Tour tickets, and Mystery Boxes. I use my diamonds on the Mystery Boxes because you get CRO from them. The amount you get varies by the market, but you can get anywhere from 1 CRO, to $1,100 worth of CRO! I recently got a Silver Mystery Box and received 3.1 CRO ($0.45) just from clicking a button once a day.
You should obviously be doing your own research into projects and things you invest in, but I like Crypto.com because of these things, as well as the ease of access.
