This is a WARNING! Read my story and maybe you can avoid the trauma drama.
In a previous article, I listed the various ways that I Work from Home Earning Cryptocurrency. This task was on my list as Number 1.
- I have a friend who wants to buy crypto but he has to send money to me so I can make the purchase for him. He pays me for this service and so I earned a little extra crypto or cash that way.
I have to write an Alert! Or a Warning! I don’t want others to go through this experience. It was a NEGATIVE. But on the PLUS side, I learned about the Federal Bureau of Investigation | Internet Crime Complaint Center (FBI-IC3).
I am hoping that this matter is thoroughly investigated. As it stands now, several cases have been opened via PayPal and it looks like a group of people conspired to scam me and then file a complaint accusing me of committing a scam.
Fortunately, there are records of my activities and I have prepared myself to ready to take them on. Here’s how the scheme … wait! I’ll say “alleged scheme”.
The “client”, who is working with “my friend” sends funds to PayPal. PayPal and Coinbase are linked. Funds are used to purchase cryptocurrency by sending from PayPal to Coinbase. Coinbase confirms the purchase and says crypto is “available”. The available crypto is sent to a wallet address provided by “my friend”.
IGNORANTLY I assumed that “my friend” sent crypto to his “client”. A few weeks or months later, the “client” opens a case with PayPal accusing me of scamming them and they demand to get their money back.
That means … either “my friend” did not send them the crypto they paid for OR “my friend” has friends/clients who are LIARS!
If this had only happened once, I would have thought that I caused the problem. However, it happened several times and it was clearly a “pattern”.
ANGRY at having been DUPED, I searched for ways to take this experience to a higher level and REPORT it to a law enforcement authority.
My RESEARCH disclosed that there are several federal agencies where I can file a report/complaint regarding this matter.
