My Crypto Gigs for 2023 and Beyond!

By cmoneyspinner | CryptoBloglines | 20 Jan 2023

I have been a work-at-home professional since 2007.  But I did not discover cryptocurrency until 2017.  There are people out there like Warren Buffett and Bill Gates who say cryptocurrency is not even real. It's a fad or a gimmick and it will not amount to anything.  If you Google the net worth of these two extraordinary American businessmen you will find that as of 2023, Warren Buffet's net worth is $109.2 billion USD; and the net worth of Bill Gates is $104 billion USD.  Considering that Bitcoin was introduced in 2009, close to 15 years ago, I can't help but wonder how much the net worth of Buffet or Gates would have increased as of today, January 2023, had they squirreled away some Bitcoin when it was first introduced.  Anyway!  That's a useless "What if?" scenario since it will never happen.

Nevertheless, while these guys (and others) continue with their naysaying, I'm going to continue searching for opportunities to earn as much cryptocurrency as I can while it's still in its “One of these days, it'll go away!” stage. With all due respect to Messieurs Buffet and Gates, the cryptocurrency that has passed through my financial accounts has been real enough for me!

It's January 2023 and I'm engaging in various work-at-home projects, such as:

1. I have a friend who wants to buy crypto but he has to send money to me so I can do make the purchase for him. He pays me for this service and so I earned a little extra crypto or cash that way.

2. I am writing for a site that has free crypto tipping. I get paid to READ articles. At the bottom of the article you click a tip button. A percentage of the crypto goes to the writer, the other percentage goes to me. Similarly, if I WRITE articles, I also earn when readers tip my articles. There are many platforms like this but at present, I am devoting most of my efforts to this one publishing platform.  (Yes.  Publish0x is the site I'm talking about; however, there were other sites that also paid crypto for reading and writing.)

3. I am on a social media site, similar to Twitter. There's a Donate button and people tip me for my short posts. It's the same thing I do on Twitter except I get tips for my short posts. Supposedly Elon Musk is working on a way for people to earn from their tweets. Well!  While he is working on it, this social app is already doing it, On this platform I could also write articles. But I doubt if those who reward my content would reward me an extra amount for a detailed article. So I keep my posts short and sweet!

4. I sometimes make short-term crypto loans, i.e. lend crypto to my friends for a small fee, and they pay me back within a month or two months.

5. I have another friend who is mining crypto. She says she's operating a mining rig. If she could see my face she would have seen my blank stare. LOL.  I had no idea what she was talking about. (O.o)  I did a little research. (Buying or Building a Mining Rig? What You Need to Know | River Financial) This article made it clear that it's not something that I feel confident to do on my own. However, I let her use some of my crypto and she pays me back 35% on whatever I invest with her, every 2 weeks.

6. I earn crypto at free faucets and leave it there because they pay interest on my coin balance. These earnings are not needed to pay bills or for daily living expenses, so I just let my balance earn interest and grow.  I sometimes withdraw around the holidays, so it's kind of like a Christmas savings account.

8. I am active on various forums where they pay you in crypto for posting comments and/or starting discussion threads.

9. Coinbase has a “Learn and Earn” feature. Every now and then, you watch a video or read an article, take a short quiz, and you earn crypto. Some sites like CoinGecko or CoinMarketCap offer small rewards that you earn if you sign in every day and/or perform super easy tasks.

10. I watch videos with ads on Hideout TV and convert my earnings into crypto.

I search constantly for easy ways to earn cryptocurrency. All of these little projects I put an an umbrella I call “My Crypto Gigs”.

NOTE: Many of these money-making arrangements are “informal”. There are no written contracts or anything like that. I have been working online for many years and have made lots of trustworthy friends. Most of the ideas I listed above were not even my ideas. My friends approached with a proposal which I accepted. HOWEVER, I'm sure such arrangements could be formalized and made into a profitable business venture.

IN CONCLUSION: While people keep calling cryptocurrency a “myth”, a “fad”, a “passing fancy”, etc. I have decided to become a steadfast believer and to figure out how I can make it work for me!

What about you??
