Sahara map Civ5 introduction:
Sahara map for Civ5 (BNW) show the largest hot desert in the world and covers 12 countries. To the north, the Sahara skirts the Mediterranean Sea in Egypt and Lybia and also Atlas mountains in Morocco. Only at coastal areas and surroundings of big rivers (Nile, Niger, Senegal, Draa, Gambia, Senegal...) are rich of fertile areas, rest of map is desert. Strategic resources (Oil, Aluminium, Uranium, Coal) are located randomly in the middle of desert, so you will need settle also sand area. On this huge map you can play for 5 Civs. You will start 3500 BC. with 4 real located cities.

Starting game (installation):
1. Download map file, unpack it and save to MAP folder. Usually C:\Users\User\Documents\My Games\Sid Meier’s Civilization 5\Maps
2. Start game and select MODS
3. Select Custom game, and choose map Sahara_full, don´t forget tick Load scenario
4. Choose leader, difficulty and PLAY
Known bugs for Alps scenario:
Years counted +40 for every turn. I recommend to use some time mod.
