Topps Baseball NFTs: Bringing all sorts of NFT Goodness

Topps Baseball NFTs: Bringing all sorts of NFT Goodness

In anticipation of the Topps Baseball Card release next week I have been eagerly learning all that I can about this upcoming release to be able to really enjoy this new foray into WAX blockchain like I never have before. While I do have some cryptomonkey cards thanks to Banano I plan to jump headfirst into this new baseball trend. Beside the fact that this is going to be the first release of its kind and I am a baseball collector the money that could possibly be made from some of these cards is going to be insane.

One of the coolest things that Topps has brought to this new idea is the idea of burning cards...... not to decrease the supply but rather to allow you to get Topps 1952 Redux NFTs! To earn these you have to burn 5 cards a week for 5 weeks straight for a total of 25 cards! It is also pretty clear that there will be several releases lined up as the Topps website says to "build the team of your dreams" Below I have attached a photo of what some of the card styles will look like with this first release!

The team cube cards will be interesting as I have never seen those in Topps BUNT baseball card game. The rest of these I have seen on the game before and I really have enjoyed the Rainbow cards that have been released. The 86 Chrome cards are classics and I can only imagine what type of effect you will be able to see with the NFT.

One series of cards that only exists on the BUNT app is the Elements cards and those have whatever element occurring in the background of the card. It is a really cool thing to see and I hope that they will bring these over. I think it would also be a pretty cool thing to see them begin to merge the BUNT app and the WAX blockchain if the NFTs do seems to be as successful as they are looking to be. Even my, not crypto-based friends are really excited to see this happen and are expressing interest in learning about them.

If anyone participates or plans to please comment below so I can see how this community on Publish0x is viewing this new NFT run!
