Stakin Sats all the way to the Bank

It has been a few weeks since I became eligible for the Fold Debit card and as soon as I could I submitted my paperwork for it. Since I moved a few months ago it took a couple extra steps for me to get my card sent to my new address. When I first looked over the benefits I decided that I was going to chose the Premium card over the regular card. That set me back $150 but I am already well on my way to getting that back.

With the Fold card you have the same gift cards you normally have. A big difference though is there is a special 5% back Amazon card that is always available. I have also not seen any of the gift cards ever become unavailable while that was an issue sometimes with the app without the card. With my recent move to another new apartment in DC the Amazon card is a huge benefit.

Now with both the free and premium version you have the ability to spin a reward wheel after you purchase something. The rewards range from 4 sats back per dollar with a minimum of 25 sats back to of course a whole Bitcoin. How ever the other options are fantastic themselves with 100 sats back per dollar equal to the value of the purchase.

With the premium version you get an added benefit of at least 3 respins a week. A couple of times I have been able to change a 4X to 30X sats back per dollar. Even better is that the Premium version has better rewards back and better odds of better rewards over the free version.

I have had been using the card for about a week now and have made a series of purchases. With Bitcoin being at about 60% of the high the dollar value is not as high as one would expect but I have earned over 16,000 sats back on $150 in purchases give or take. Give or take its $6 back which works out to 4% back so far.

That’s not to shabby considering the rewards have been getting juicer with the fall of Bitcoin. I made several purchases after the first bounce and did receive much less in sats than I have recently. While this is not record breaking amounts by any means. If by chance I hit one of the much much higher payouts on a larger purchase it could really change the sats back so far. This is a great little experiment and I can’t wait to see how it plays out over the next few weeks and update y’all!
