Just a couple of days ago Pi Network crossed the 10 Million Pioneer mark. I have previously written about this and you can find it here. For any project, this is a monumental feat but with the Pi Network, it led to an important question being addressed.

Was phone mining going to be cut in half or was it going to be stopped. The developers had previously informed us about this as the number of people got closer and closer. It was only a couple of days ago that they decided and informed us of the development.

The mining rate was going to be cut in half which was the plan I assumed they would follow. More importantly though was the main network launch will be in about a year! After several years of working towards this goal, Pi Networks' main network launch is finally on the horizon!

The ability of mining on phones is a really neat thing to bring back, and the ability for this network to better serve P2P payments is what really excites me. I cannot wait to see how development continues to go and how continued adaptation/more people joining the network continues to go!
