Crypto This Month has Really Started to Show an Independence From the Stock Market

The inflation data we got slapped with yesterday was brutal but I do not think it should have surprised people. Even with general inflation trending in the "right" direction, numerous areas of inflation still have not been addressed. I believe that this mixed bag of results gave a lot of people hope that we had made more progress in the fight against inflation than we honestly had and that the Fed was going to only have another small twenty-five basis point hike in March.

Safe to say that idea is officially dead and that people now realize that they are getting way too far ahead of themselves. Something that I think would honestly shock most readers though is the number crunching I had done earlier yesterday and even posted a little bit about it in the r/cryptocurrency Reddit forum.

For the month of February, granted this data was from yesterday the most recent day both markets were open, Bitcoin and Ethereum are still up for the month! They are not up a lot but compared to the Dow are killing it by maintaining value! Bitcoin is up roughly $11 and Ethereum is up roughly $3 compared to the Dow who is down 1,371 points! Looking at this for Feb. crypto is maintaining its value much better than the stock market has!
