The Good and Bad

At a time around the world where fear dominates; a chance that we could all return to our mundane lives. Never thinking twice about the lives lost..... sacrifices made by Doctors worldwide nor the people on the front lines is relatively more scary than Coronavirus.

In my Country, United States of America is a blood bath in all reality. Long gone are leaders who act their age and put the best interests of the PEOPLE ahead of their own gain.

I walked my dog being in a lockdown mode. My therapist asked me recently "How are you handling the lockdown?" My response was I am fine as I have been threw way worse before.

People fail to recognize what military around the world go threw when preparing to go to war. It is what you see now.

The "restrictive activity" in civilian terms means "You are on lockdown" in military terms. Before a deployment we are grounded. No alcohol, no bars, no shopping (Giebasdalt had the smallest PX ever), NO NOTHING.

The fatigue seen in our first responders, Police, Paramedics, Firefighters, Medics down to Doctors is from being thrown into a situation that is extremely dangerous and difficult not to mention one they have not trained for.

As bodies would stack up in Vietnam, bodies stack up here and around the world

My biggest fear is that when this is over we will return to our selfish ways.

We will forget the Ambulance drivers and 1st responders who transported so many victims of the Coronavirus with death around every corner. Thoughts of disappointment and despair are lingering.

What is scary is how we take life and our comforts for granted.

Sometimes, when you don't have or see how others are struggling you get a new take on what is really important.

My husband is furloughed until June 1. He is receiving half pay but full benefits.

As I have tried to stay reserved due to the upcoming election season; I realize that I am in a very unique position.

My husband's company despite the financial hardship they are going threw is paying for a treatment for my lungs.

The Department of Veterans Affairs does not have this treatment nor is it offered by them.

This treatment is called NUCALA which will fight the inflammation in my lungs.

Joni Ernst is running again in Iowa... due to her own behavior and using authority she didn't have gave me a death sentence.

But, I don't see any Republican candidates or even Donald Trump condemning what happened in my case. They try to cover this by saying, "She is an attention seeker".

I will always say that it has to be equal....

So, whenever you think about scarey; remember that some have sacrificed in ways that you can't.... this is not meant to make you feel bad but to open your eyes to something bigger..... like being grateful...

You should always try to find the good and bad in each situation so your hope is not destroyed.

Have a good day....
