To tell my story as it is and what has happened to me, with me is such a way that blame is not part of it.
I can't assign responsibility for these things.
That is not my job... I am all about people doing their job..... using normal intelligence for normal things.
I looked up the word blame... it means "assign responsibility for a fault or wrong."
Who assigns responsibility? The Courts and if it never makes to the courts then God...
I am not a judge and not God.....
This morning I read a story about my friend who won her battle with KBR (Kellogg, Brown and Root) who are military contractors...
KBR abandoned this young woman...
The word abandoned jumped off the page to me....
I began to think about that.
I have a long history of being abandoned.
This is what I know:
A. "We don't want to see you, we don't want to treat you and no one can make us." EMPLOYEE Department of Veterans Affairs
B. "If you have pulmonary hypertension it is just mild and won't get worse." Employees Department of Veterans Affairs
C. "At this point it does not matter, she needs to move on and get over it." Employees VBA/VHA
D. "You are not a veteran, you were not raped but it was consensual sex; CID said it wasn't rape so we don't have to treat you." Employees CID/VHA...
E. "We don't want you, and we don't need you.".US ARMY Professional
Abandonment brings about things that are unfavourable both mental, emotional and physically.
At some point being abandoned is the only ACTION you can count on. That sooner or later people leave.... Abandonment by meaning is, "AN ACTION aka VERB- cease to support, give up completely.
I didn't understand this...
At some point when a difference of opinion arises then shortly after abandonment comes.
For veterans that seek help, it seems that they are abandoned due to Political infighting.
The core MISSION is lost... Department of Veterans Affairs cites, "To care for him that borne the battle"....
To care is the opposite of "give up completely" or "cease to support."
I would encourage the VA Central Office to NOT ABANDON the war wounded... the hard cases...
I would encourage veterans to keep their guard up until VA Central Office improves their track record.
