"The Feds Need To Close Down Bitcoin"

Soon, a lot more people than just Jamie Dimon are going to be saying that Bitcoin should be made illegal.

Cryptocurrency is destroying any notion of any nation using fiat currency, or even pretending to use fiat currency, for much longer into the future.

Aside from Jamie Dimon's concerns, which all revolve around increasing his balances one way or another, there are some good arguments for why Bitcoin, or cryptocurrencies in general, or blockchains or CBDs or POW systems ought to be banned.

They're not secure, there are plenty of ways that they will go down eventually, through technical flaws, hacks, or attacks, if by no other means.

POW systems drain precious electric resources from the grid, so that the rest of society has to pay more to get less, and this also contributes to pollution and warming.

Blockchains and cryptocurrencies are blackboxes by design, and it is asinine for an entire global civilization to give its power and trust over to trustless and new unproven systems.

The only good argument I have for cryptocurrencies is that it is possible to use them without necessarily needing to use the mark of the beast.

What are your thoughts?  I am curious and eager to hear what others have to say.

Jesus Christ is Lord! This ministry is blessed by God to observe and report what is real and happening around us today, and to share God's Word among the nations, and to share the rest and contentment which comes from knowing Jesus Christ. ~ Except the Lord build the house, they labour in vain that build it: except the Lord keep the city, the watchman waketh but in vain. 2 It is vain for you to rise up early, to sit up late, to eat the bread of sorrows: for so he giveth his beloved sleep. Psalm 127.1-2
