Dance, dance, wherever you may be

here we all are at first, were, perhaps may be, and can be:

starting out seeing in the open, able to go anywhere at any speed with any volume of laughter and noise and dirt, and always able to go strip down and wash up in the river and be right as new when clean.

finding shelter to sleep and shelter in a storm and in the heat and in the cold and basking in the comfort and rest that it provides, and the peace that the memory and knowledge of it provides when absent.

communicating wholly and with love as though each person were the other, honestly and effectively in patience and love.

being taken care of in a way so that everyone knows they are taken care of, and so that each would take care of any other in need, upon noticing the need and in God's will and timing.

believing that all things are possible, trusting all things, observing all things observable. often able to take care of most anything by looking around and using what's available.

able to rest and able to be at rest.

...

if this is growing up, I never want to do it:

going from moving openly to being confined to a room. then becoming so busy that more room is needed for more work to be done. then becoming more busy and needing to put up walls to divide the work. then needing to build more rooms with more walls and more buildings with more floors with more rooms. all by being a servant to someone else who is also confined and a servant to someone else's confinement.

finding ourselves in routines. finding ourselves in routines outside of sunlight and outside of fresh air and outside of dirt and grass and bug bites and fresh water and healthy ecosystems, incubated in our self-centered shrines dedicated to peace and convenience and security.

losing the wide-eyed wonder that can be found by seeing each moment singularly, as without being rushed or thinking about some other moment. having lost this pause and observation in everyday living, going on to the complexities which are conditioned in through routine examples of envy.

disoriented. faithless. offended and impotent and fearful.

unable to make decisions or build anything because all their decisions are made and plans are drawn up by someone else.

...

many people begin doubting by:

doubting, having been shown depravity and led down bamboozlement and disillusionment by those who ought not have done so.

doubting, having failed on their own accord to match their own or others' expectations, and perhaps exponentially smooshed by pride and pressure at another's eyes and haughty laugh or perhaps pity from another.

doubting, having been taught it by people who just believe they must live in fear.

doubting, being tempted and drawn away from believing, perhaps through idle living or hasty decisions or merely never realizing contentment in rest.

...

there is soon coming our Lord Jesus Christ, Who says from Heaven's throne: "Behold, I make all things new."

And he that sat upon the throne said, Behold, I make all things new. And he said unto me, Write: for these words are true and faithful.
Revelation 21.5

I danced in the morning when the world was begun
I danced in the moon, and the stars, and the sun
I came down from Heaven and I danced on the Earth
At Bethlehem I had my birth

Dance, dance, wherever you may be
I am the Lord of the dance said He
And I lead you all wherever you may be
And I lead you all in the dance said He

I danced for the Scribes and the Pharisees
They wouldn't dance, they wouldn't follow Me
I danced for the fishermen, James and John
They came with Me so the dance went on

Dance, dance, wherever you may be
I am the Lord of the dance said He
And I lead you all wherever you may be
And I lead you all in the dance said He

I danced on the Sabbath and I cured the lame
The holy people said it was a shame
They whipped they stripped they hung me high
Left me there on the hill to die

Dance, dance, wherever you may be
I am the Lord of the dance said He
And I lead you all wherever you may be
And I lead you all in the dance said He

I danced on a Friday when the world turned black
It's hard to dance with the devil on your back
They buried my body; they thought I was gone
But I am the Dance, and the dance goes on

Dance, dance, wherever you may be
I am the Lord of the dance said He
And I lead you all wherever you may be
And I lead you all in the dance said He

They put me down
And I leapt up high
I am the Life
That'll never, never die

I'll live in you
If you'll live in me
I am the Lord
Of the Dance, said He

Dance, dance, wherever you may be
I am the Lord of the dance said He
And I lead you all wherever you may be
And I lead you all in the dance said He

Dance, dance, wherever you may be
I am the Lord of the dance said He
And I lead you all wherever you may be
And I lead you all in the dance said He

Jesus Christ is Lord! This ministry is blessed by God to observe and report what is real and happening around us today, and to share God's Word among the nations, and to share the rest and contentment which comes from knowing Jesus Christ. ~ Except the Lord build the house, they labour in vain that build it: except the Lord keep the city, the watchman waketh but in vain. 2 It is vain for you to rise up early, to sit up late, to eat the bread of sorrows: for so he giveth his beloved sleep. Psalm 127.1-2
