Tucked away in Toronto's Riverside neighborhood is Riverside Burgers. At 688 Queen St E. half a block away from the iconic Broadview hotel.
If you are into that kind of thing you can follow them on instagram: @riversideburgers.
Established months before the covid-19 shut down. They market themselves as having a passion for fresh, high quality burgers. It is a small industrial yet pinteresting decor, that sits potentially 10 patrons on uncomfortable chairs and flimsy narrow slatted tables.

Their menu includes options like the hit Hawaiian, the Big Boy, and a lamb burger. They are liscences so you can wash down your burger with a local craft beer, if you're into that kind of thing.
Front and center on their website you can find their signature burger called the Riverside. It includes Bacon Mozzarella Riverside BBQ sauce Garlic aioli And an onion ring.

The Riverside is reasonably priced at $13.50 CAD.
How did it stack up?

Again its a small sample size, but we are consistent. and seem to be close to each other.
We both agreed that the bacon, the onion ring, and the BBQ sauce took over.
The garlic aioli was not noticeable, and mozzarella is a place holder cheese.
A point was made that this is the signature burger for a western themed restaurant not a local grill. It is not by anyway a bad burger, just strange. The RIverside scored a CBI of -60, showing good value. Meaning for the price it is a good burger. Unfortunately we both thought that even though we would come back to Riverside Burgers, it would not be to order the Riverside. That is why it ends on the negative side of the spectrum.
We both do not need to have this burger again. Next time I will be ordering the Hot Hawaiian.
