One of the biggest problems of Blockchain Gaming has been the "Gaming" part. That being said it's not hard to feel good about the future of Gala Games just by knowing they have the cofounder of Zynga (FarmVille, Words With Friends) holding the reins. 1. Gala Soft Nodes ($1250)

If you're looking to support the Gala blockchain and want to participate in the creation of the gaming model of the future this is the way to go. By licensing a Gala Soft Node you're able to support the community by contributing the computing power of your devices, this directly impacts the blockchain games and gameplay and in turn you're rewarded for your contribution.

What you get from your purchase:

• You receive GALA coins passively by leaving your node running.
• Unique game rewards, rare and legendary game items and collectables.
• A portion of transaction fees (100% of all transactions fees are distributed to active Gala Soft Nodes.)

Things you need to know about the nodes:

• The company used to be called Arcade and the price of the Arcade nodes were $1000. Each block of nodes cost significantly higher. The license pricing for each block will be adjusted based on market demand and the Gala Blockchain need for Gala Nodes.
• A license supports multiple CPU cores. More cores = more processing power = more rewards. Almost any device can run the nodes, even raspberry pi's. That being said, it's a given that the better your hardware the better your rewards.
• Currently they're not Linux compatible, but this is being worked on.
• You can purchase one using Bitcoin or USD Bank Wire. Payment via other currencies will be available eventually.
• You can get a $100 discount on your node by upgrading to a Gala Gold Account. This discount will be applied retroactively as the process is not yet automated. You'll have to send a support ticket after your purchase to avail of the discount.

2. Gala Gold Account ($10)

By upgrading to the Gold account you get extra rewards for helping the community grow and inviting all of your family and friends to play, specifically you get the following perks:

3. In Game Rewards (FREE!)

Awards are not yet online and are due to be launched late in the Beta so you've got time to prepare to steamroll the competition. There will be tiered rewards based on your town's success for that week so you don't necessarily have to be the very best to be rewarded, but the top players will be rewarded very very handsomely because farmbots are likely to be prizes.

BONUS: Farmbots

Their main purpose is for you to be able to mine BoxCoin in the world of Town Star. The devs mentioned in the discord that it will be an integral part of the game experience and there's only going to be 1000 of them fully assembled. As far as I'm aware the parts to assemble one are all NFT's, there used to be loot boxes to purchase parts but now they'll only be available by trading, (possibly) rewards for Nodes, and prizes for the top players.

Town Star is still in Beta so things aren't set in stone and may change but i'll try to update as much as I can. I'm new to the game and a lot of info was taken from backreading the discord channel so if I misunderstood or misinterpreted some things do let me know in the comments so I can edit my mistakes. There's so much information to take in and it can get very overwhelming so I'll be trying to break it down into digestible chunks and make it easier for everyone to navigate while I'm learning the ropes myself.
