Emerging blockchain-technology opens doors for revolutionary projects. Now areas begin to change that seemed established. In the last few weeks, I have tried four interesting social-blogging-platforms, Publish0x, Hive, Steemit, and Uptrennd. After exploring each one of them, Uptrennd is the clear winner. In this post, I am going to share 10 reasons why Uptrennd is by far the best choice. 💸

1)  Many Ways To Earn Money

Uptrennd supports 4 different ways to earn money. You can get rewards by receiving upvotes on posts and even on comments. If you repost an article you like, you earn 50 % of the upvotes it receives. For every upvote, you earn 0.54 1UP (today: 1 1UP = 0.0051 dollars). By reading daily you can easily obtain 20 1UP. Other platforms don't offer that many diverse possibilities to earn money thus there is something for everyone.

2) Level-Up Mechanism

You can level-up at Uptrennd. After earning 100 1UP at level 1 you can choose to level up. Each level up increases your reward per upvote by 0.1 1UP. So if you reach level 10 you earn 1 token more per upvote. Long term, this increases your income by 100 % or even 200 %!

Besides, up- and downvotes of users with a high level are more valuable. Depending on the level of the person who left a like, an upvote could have an impact of 5 or 10 upvotes. Steemit has something similar. However, it has problems balancing this system. Few users are quickly gaining too much power. Uptrennd has learned from this mistake. Your voting power doesn't increase much after level 20. This leads to a more sustainable ecosystem.

3) Native Token

Uptrennd is powered by 1UP. The more the platform grows the more valuable the token gets. Content creators earn 0.0051 dollars per upvote now but might earn 1 cent or more per upvote in the future. Additionally, the total supply of 1UP is capped. This adds value to the token since they can't be created out of thin air. Uptrennd is just at the beginning, the growth potential could be phenomenal.

4) 1UP Halving

The total supply of 1UP is capped. In the future, no more tokens would enter the ecosystem which is a huge problem! There wouldn't be a way to earn something. Therefore, the Uptrennd-team developed the 1UP halving similar to Bitcoin 🔁. At a regular interval, it will become twice as difficult to earn 1UP but the token's value will double every time in the long-term (simple supply and demand dynamic). The content creators won't earn less and the number of tokens won't run out. Brilliant!

5) Community Is Growing Steadily

Statistics about Uptrennd are publicly available (https://www.uptrennd.com/stats). Since 2019 the community is growing steadily. If this trend continues the value of 1UP will also increase and users will earn more. 

6) Uptrennd Encourages Quality Content

The dominating mindset of Uptrennd is extremely fair. If you publish quality content (posts and comments) people will reward you. If you are spamming content you will be punished and you might lose some tokens. Long-term, this mentality will attract many readers and writers. 7) Guardians Keep The Community Healthy

Two weeks ago, a guardian friendly pointed a small violation out to me (caused by asking for upvotes in my first post). I edited this mistake shortly after and the problem was solved. Guardians also regularly publish posts about how to write quality content. They are like gardeners who keep the plants and soil healthy 🌱. Without them, the platform wouldn't be half as good. This emphasizes how active the Uptrennd-team operates. 

8) Community Is Extremely Active

Posts have many comments and upvotes. If you write quality content the community will want to comment and give you upvotes. Compared to other platforms, Uptrennd is hyperactive. On Uptrennd my posts have around 8x more views than on Publish0x.

9) Developers Are Active and Transparent

The developers of Uptrennd always announce updates publicly. They transparently communicate what will change in the future and when.  Issues are addressed quickly and the team tries to improve the platform as much as they can.

10) Various Communities

Uptrennd doesn't struggle with the problem that only tech-savvy-people are writing content as much as other blogging platforms. On Uptrennd you can find poetry, fashion, astronomy, and many other communities. It is not limited to technology thus it can attract many people. ⛷️
