I've been using Brave Browser as my main browser for a few years now and, specifically, i've been using Brave on my current laptop, a 2020 MacBook Air M1 (that I bought in 2023) since March 31, 2023.

My MacBook Air isn't particularly new or modern.

It uses the new M-series chip, but it's the M1 (we're now at M5), and it's a 2020 model.

I bought it new in 2023, back when M2 was already being shipped, and I've been using nearly daily since.

For reasons related to work, I have to keep two browsers open at all times.

One is Safari, with around five to 10 tabs open daily (simultaneously,) and the other one is Brave, the main browser I use, with up to 50-60 tabs open together.

In this exact moment, I've got 22 open, including a couple with media being played in the backdrop.

March 31, 2023 - March 25, 2023 - so almost exactly three years, Brave told me it has so far blocked 3,293,840 ads and saved me 125.44 GB and 1.91 days.

It also saved me a YouTube Premium subscription, but let's keep this (open) secret on the quiet.
