But, in my defence, I did buy his book so it's only a little bit bad! BTW, it's a great book and you should buy it.
I've known for years my doctors and nutritionists were lying (Not intentionally) but I had no idea how badly.
I've believed since I was a teenager that Western Medicine is all about treating symptoms while Eastern Medicine is about preventing disease.
When I was younger I suffered from tonsilitis regularly. I don't really remember why they never removed my tonsils, but I always used to think - this happens all the time and they give me tablets and injections, but they never cure the tonsilitis.
Well, now I'm 60 and I know even more sure that I have been right all these years.
Why do they lie to us? Because they've been lied to and they're just passing on those lies, believing they're true. Even when they suspect they're not true, they either don't have the time to research or they're afraid to go against their organisations and peers.
To really understand how corrupt the system is, we need to go back in history and look at The McGovern Commission. I'm not going to detail it here, but basically, 1 man convinced the commission to follow his advice, Ancel Keys. He was supported by the Agricultural and Sugar lobbies and the 7th Day Adventist Church. Smell money yet? What has a church got to do with it?
Another long story, but I suggest you research an Australian Doctor by the name of Dr Gary Fettke who was banned from Practicing medicine in Australia for daring to question why his diabetic patients were being fed high carbohydrate (high sugar meals). The linked article shows just how powerful the SDA Church has become in lobbying and advocating for a Vegetarian diet. It has nothing to do with health, its all about lowering people'scarnal desires. Yes, that's right, they believe eating meat make you randy!
There is so much bad science out there. Because doctors are so busy and these days they ha e to work long and fast to make a decent living, they rely on the abstracts of medical research papers rather then read the actual research. Well, the abstract is written in such a way that it supports whoever funded the research. A group of medical researchers (I can't remember who) did a study of studies and concluded that if you know who funded the study, you have a better than 80% chance of knowing the outcome without reading anything other than the title.
The biggest lie of all in my opinion, a lie that affects everyone, every day is that we need to eat a certain amount of grains, carbohydrates, vegetables and fruits every day to maintain our health. LIE.
I gave up carbohydrates 12 months ago on the 1st1stJanuary 2019. In less than 3 months I was no longer diabetic (although I had been told it was a permanent condition, it could never be cured and all I could do was take drugs to control it), my blood pressure took longer to get under control without medicatikn, but it is now normal and the range of symptoms and problems that have disappeared is incredible - so incredible that some of you won't believe it.
I took up a carnivore lifestyle 7 months ago - meat and eggs only. 0 fibre. 0 bowel ssues.
- Fibromyalgia gone (when a doctor doesn't know why you have all these aches and pain that's what they call it)
- Arthritis gone
- Knees repaired (1 100%, 1 90%)
- Skin tags gone (if you have skin tags, you have diabetes or are pre-diabetic, regardless of blood tests and what doctors tell you)
- Skin (lesions, skin cancers) cleared up 95%
- Overweight no longer (95kg to 70kg in 5 months)
- Energy levels back to teenager level
- Depression gone
- Irritability much, much lower
- Mental clarity restored
- IBS (Irritable Bowel Syndrome) gone
- Teeth smoother and cleaner
- Candida rash gone
