KuCoin Exchange Reviewed

Almost everyone on this platform has probably heard of KuCoin, since the exchange has recently been added as the recommended withdrawal method for your hard-earned tips. Some people, however, might not know that much about the exchange rate. I set up an account to use for withdrawals, and I decided to share what I think of the platform here.

Account Creation

Making an account was very easy: A simple email-password-verification type form, and here's the best part: no KYC. It always feels sketchy to be giving some random website my home address, so I was happy KuCoin doesn't require it. I was then able to log in and see my KuCoin dashboard before me.

The dashboard

The KuCoin dashboard is fairly simple. When you first log in, you will be on your assets tab. By default, this will show your BTC, which should be zero. You also have two account tabs: A main account and a trading account. In order to trade, you first need to move your tokens and coins to your trading account. Kucoin supports a huge amount of tokens and coins: more than I could ever count, but definitely at least 100. It makes me happy that I'll be able to trade pretty much and coins I buy in one place. There is also a margin account, but margin trading is disabled by default. You can also deposit, withdraw and see the history for those two.

Buying, trading and withdrawals

There are three ways to buy crypto on KuCoin: Credit/Debit card, P2P marketplace and fast buy. From what I can tell, card payments are the best since the P2P marketplace has very few offers (mostly bot accounts with names like "Let's get rich together") and the fast buy option seems to just automatically get you the best card payment offers. There are many ways to trade, including margin trading and a trading bot. There is also a section called "Futures" which, from what I can see, is options KuCoin is beta testing.

Final review

KuCoin seems like a great option, and the only for me is that FARM tokens are not supported. I plan on using the service for trading from now on.
