Digital Wallets: Future, Safety, and Convenience

By GoblinCrypto | CaptCrimson | 28 Mar 2020

We are entering into a space of life where the future is becoming a reality. As kids we always dreamed of flying cars and buildings in the sky or robots that would make you breakfast. Another aspect of the future is how we store and spend our money. Digital wallets is that answer. People want a fast, easy-to-use,and safe payment method. This is where the digital wallet comes into play.

People enjoy using mobile wallets. Digital wallets allow users to safely pay for purchases in advance, fast, and gives the user the ability is fully track all outgoing and incoming transactions. Using mobile wallets allow consumers to make purchases using an app or a quick flash of a smartphone even more simple.

But what are some of the reasons why people should start using digital wallets? Will this become the norm? Here are some reasons why I believe this:

Digital Wallets are incredibly more secure than a physical wallet. Most digital wallets only allow access though finger print or face scan. Worrying about someone stealing your phone isn't really a worry anymore. Most phones come with a feature that allows you to lock it remotely in case somebody does take it. Then once you purchase another phone, you can redownload your digital wallet and continue on your merry way. Easy.

Cleanliness is a HUGE factor. With the recent pandemic that is taking over the globe one thing that people have now come to an agreement over is how dirty physical money is. It's filthy and myself I have stopped using physical money for the past 6 years. I have moved to using my card or mainly using my mobile phone to pay for everything. Having to not worry where the money has come from or who's hands it has touched will be a blessing.

Convenient. How would you like to carry $700 in your wallet going about your regular day? It's heavy and almost impossible to fit in a general wallet. Think about keeping that $700 in a digital wallet. You wouldn't even notice it! No more carrying large bills around or having to buy a new wallet because you busted the one you got from Christmas out.

Now to mix Crypto into this. One of the things that makes certain crypto so great is speed and transparency. Imagine getting paid in Bitcoin or another respected coin then it being deposited into your mobile wallet? And depending where the future of Crypto goes, Bitcoin may eventually be bridged by coins like XRP that could make the transaction even faster. You could have full access to your own funds in seconds and YOU would own them. Another great example of having a digital wallet I can think of would be for projects like Casino Coin. If Casino Coin is successful in it's plan you could use a digital wallet to purchase and receive your winnings. This eliminates so many factors that get in the way.

With more and more talks every day about digital money I believe digital wallets will become the future and norm. Looking at the timeline of how money is stored and spent it just makes since. It's time for this change. Paying with rocks, to paying with gold, to paying with checks, storing money in mattresses, paying with cards, storing money in banks, paying with phones...It's a transition and the age of digital money and digital wallets is closer than ever before.
