Amazon, the online giant that we all know and love (or hate, depending on whether or not you're a Jeff Bezos stan), is reportedly planning to dip their toes into the world of cryptocurrency this spring. How, you might ask? With a range of Amazon NFTs, of course!
Rumour has it that Amazon has been scouring the web3 scene for companies to acquire, and they're planning to use these acquisitions to launch a range of Amazon NFTs. The question on everyone's lips is, what will these NFTs be of? Will they be digital Tamagotchis? Virtual Flappy Birds? Only time will tell.
But it's not just NFTs that Amazon is interested in. According to Andy Jassy, the CEO of Amazon (since Jeffrey Bezos stepped down), the company is open to curating and selling its own NFTs, as well as the potential of adopting various cryptocurrencies.
