Hey Rollers! There are supposedly so many updates coming out for RollerCoin in the next month/month and a half that a lot of us cannot wait to see it. The marketplace is one of the top wishes that should be coming to fruition with the launch of Season 3. For more on that, you can take a look at RollerCoins blog post here. I'm curious to hear how you all felt about this season going into it and how you feel now that it's ending? Although this season wasn't as exciting as we all hoped, it is wrapping up today and we can move on to a hopefully better and more interesting Season 3.
Before I get into how I faired this season, there were a lot of changes that upset the community this season. The main issues were the continuation of securing a referral per week, playing 160 games per week - although I don't think it was the number of games but rather the fact that it was the same 4 games 40 times each, week after week; and lastly the added challenge of spending 40 RLT per week, loot boxes that had a higher probability of rewarding with less RLT than the 10 RLT it cost per gamble. There were a lot more issues and I do go in-depth with that in a previous post if you're interested.
Some bonuses that I found particularly nice (similar in season 1) were the fact that by spending money for miners using the lootbox, players were always guaranteed to earn a stronger miner than what could be purchased in the store.

LootBox Wins
Well, I got 3 new miners. A "Chupacabra", "The Lush", and a "Drifter" bringing my power up to by 62,000. Not a whole lot but again, still better than anything I could have purchased from the shop and for less. Technically I spent 40 RLT for the latter two miners. The Chupacabra I received from finishing the quest.

Lucky 500
While I did spend on lootboxes to earn miners, I also spent some on the Lucky 500. Much more than I thought I did so I decided to spend some more just so I can show you guys what it looks like. I'll also break down what we are looking at. In total, I spent 230 RLT and won 251 RLT so at the end of it, while I feel like I "made" RLT. I really only profited about 21 RLT and aged with the anxiety of clicking on that buy button! I did have to exchange some BNB for RLT at one point so, you're welcome RollerCoin team.
Here's what it looks like when you open a Lucky 500 lootbox. The color coincides with the amount you win. Usually, when I saw that it was white I just had dread thinking it was 3 RLT. 5 isn't much better but it's not the worst!

Today, Dec 6th, I spent 60 RLT and opened 6 boxes. I'll be honest I was starting to lose hope. My winnings helped out in being able to open more because I only started with 61 RLT. So all in all I spent 60 RLT and earned 84 RLT. Making a profit of 24 RLT, and I must admit I was incredibly lucky to not only make it back but to make a profit since it is 100% a gamble and not in favor of the gambler. In either case, I thought it was important to share with the community.

Dec. 4th, I spent another 60 RLT and earned 81 RLT. A profit of 21 RLT.

November 20th I spent 30 RLT and received 30 RLT so I broke even.

November 14, I spent 20 RLT and received 22 RLT. A profit of 2 RLT.

Oct 15th I spent 20 RLT and gained 26 RLT, a profit of 6 RLT.

Oct. 20th spent 20 RLT and gained 17 RLT, total lose of 3 RLT.

Oct 21, Spent 20 RLT and gained 13 RLT, total loss of 7RLT.

So in the end is the lootbox Lucky 500 worth it, no, I don't believe that it is from personal experience. For the few that got lucky and hit that 500 RLT, I'm curious how much they may have spent prior to and did they continue to gamble? =0]
How Far Did I Get?

Completed Quests
Although I tried to complete all quests every week, it was almost impossible with work, kids, and other responsibilities weighing on my time. I was happy enough to make it to the Chupacabra and elated when I realized there was a chance to earn the 20 RLT. There was no way I was making it to the "El Monstro" and while it was a bummer, I knew going into this season that there was NO way I was going to worry about trying to get a referral every week and spending 40 weekly. It just wasn't going to happen.
On some weeks I was lucky and I picked up a referral which helped me make it to the 20 RLT that I was surprisingly able to make it to. As you can tell, I'm still kind of surprised by that.

This is how I am sitting at the moment. Fingers crossed for a better outcome in the coming season.

New Update
The Task Wall was a nice addition from the RollerCoin team which was added around the middle of this season. It seems to be a nice way to earn some RLT which completing some simple and some longer/more challenging tasks. If you have the time and want to make some additional RLT to use on miners, this is a good way to start doing that.
I for one am looking forward to Season 3 and hope that it will be more akin to the way Season 1 was. Until the next update!
