Hello Fellow Rollers! I hope that you've been enjoying this season of RollerCoin. After last season I've been really impressed with how they've planned out this season for the players. As promised I will have an update on the "math" for this season (next post) but for this post I wanted to walk through how you can figure out what is the best coin to mine and the easiest way to do those calculations without any work.
We'll go through the steps of using Rollerbuddy but first I'm going to give you my calculations for RollerToken, Bitcoin (the BTCX2 and typical block rewards), Ethereum, Binance, MATIC, and DOGE. I have also added what these rewards equal when we convert it into USD as the market sits currently on Dec. 27th, 2021. Keep in mind that the market is never static so these numbers may be wildly different when you see them or calculate them at home.
RollerToken
RollerToken doesn't have a corresponding USD because it is in-game currency but typically it's viewed as 1 RLT per 1 USD. So with that, here is what the rewards look like for me today if I was mining RLT.
- RollerToken Rewards:
- Expected Reward: 0.00346560 Rollertoken
- Daily Reward: 0.4990 Rollertoken
- Weekly Reward: 3.4930 Rollertoken
- Monthly Reward: 14.9700 Rollertoken
Bitcoin
For Bitcoin, I needed to use an additional tool to ensure I didn't make any mistakes. Players have to convert the Satoshi into Bitcoin in order to understand what they are actually earning. This can be done using a Satoshi to Bitcoin Calculator.
- Bitcoin Rewards at the typical 30000:
- Expected Reward: 3.1437 Satoshi (0.00000003 BTC = $0.002 USD)
Daily Reward: 452.6878 Satoshi (0.00000453BTC = $0.232 USD)
Weekly Reward: 3168.8146 Satoshi (0.00003169 = $1.61 USD)
Monthly Reward: 13580.6340 Satoshi (0.00013581 = $6.937 USD)
- Expected Reward: 3.1437 Satoshi (0.00000003 BTC = $0.002 USD)
- Bitcoin Double Rewards week 60000:
- Expected Reward: 6.2873 Satoshi (0.00000006 = $0.003 USD)
Daily Reward: 905.3757 Satoshi (0.00000905 = $.0463 USD)
Weekly Reward: 6337.6299 Satoshi (0.00006338 = $3.241 USD)
Monthly Reward: 27161.2710 Satoshi (0.00027161 = $13.884 USD)
- Expected Reward: 6.2873 Satoshi (0.00000006 = $0.003 USD)
Ethereum
Ethereum was a pretty straightforward calculation. Depending on the current price as with all cryptocurrencies, these numbers will be different minute to minute but in general, this is a pretty good idea of what you might be earning unless there is a major shift in the market. To which I usually say HODL!
Keep in mind that Ethereum has had very high gas fees in the past and continues to. Unless you are mining this for exchanging it to RLT, it may be pretty expensive to move. Work your gas fee calculations into the equation if you can.
- Ethereum
- Expected Reward: 0.00000100 Ethereum (USD $ 0.0040808)
Daily Reward: 0.00014396 Ethereum (USD $ 0.587475)
Weekly Reward: 0.00100772 Ethereum (USD $ 4.1123249)
Monthly Reward: 0.00431880 Ethereum (USD $ 17.62)
- Expected Reward: 0.00000100 Ethereum (USD $ 0.0040808)
Binance
Binance is another straightforward calculation. I am genuinely surprised that Binance is not as high as I originally thought. As you can see from my screenshots, that's what I'm currently mining but I'll probably be changing that around since my goal is to have rooms full of miners. I am nowhere near that yet.
- Binance Rewards:
- Expected Reward: 0.00000597 BNB (USD $ 0.0034028)
Daily Reward: 0.00085906 BNB (USD $ 0.4896427)
Weekly Reward: 0.00601342 BNB (USD $ 3.4274989)
Monthly Reward: 0.02577180 BNB (USD $ 14.69)
- Expected Reward: 0.00000597 BNB (USD $ 0.0034028)
MATIC
MATIC held another surprise for me when I did calculations! While MATIC is not the most highly valued currency, it does receive one of the higher block rewards when compared to the others. Personally speaking, (and I am not a financial advisor) I think MATIC has the most growth potential but we'll see.
- MATIC Rewards:
- Expected Reward: 0.00127280 MATIC (USD $ 0.0035157)
Daily Reward: 0.18328384 MATIC (USD $ 0.5062624)
Weekly Reward: 1.28298688 MATIC (USD $ 3.5438371)
Monthly Reward: 5.49851520 MATIC (USD $ 15.19)
- Expected Reward: 0.00127280 MATIC (USD $ 0.0035157)
DOGE
DOGE at this point does not seem to be the best currency to gamble on but I can guarantee that its fans would beg to differ. If you believe in DOGE the way I believe in XYO (which you can mine from your phone here is a link - also future post coming soon) then it doesn't matter what the current price is because the strategy is to accumulate as much as possible before a pump. Nevertheless, it's worth noting that while you earn the most crypto mining DOGE, it is the least valuable of the currencies.
- DOGE Rewards:
- Expected Reward: 0.0101 Doge(USD $0.0019)
Daily Reward: 1.4527 Doge(USD $0.28)
Weekly Reward: 10.1689 Doge(USD $1.93)
Monthly Reward: 43.5810 Doge(USD $8.27)
- Expected Reward: 0.0101 Doge(USD $0.0019)
ReCap on Best Crypto to Mine
It's hard to completely recap which is the "best" because it's pretty situational to what a player's end goals are but I believe that if players are serious about RollerCoin they will aim to earn more miners which will increase their total power, thus increasing overall earnings. So, what is the best crypto to mine right now? In my opinion, if you're looking to purchase more miners hands down RollerToken wins with the monthly reward of 14.9700 Rollertoken. This is also because there are no gas fees for using RLT for purchases.
If you buy RLT with any other currency, players will always pay a bit more than what the current dollar amount of that currency is. I'm not sure what the reason for that exchange is but, it's there. When Ethereum has a 10% off when purchasing RLT like this week, then it makes more sense to use ETH because it's a better exchange rate even than RLT. One thing to keep in mind though is that ETH does hold value outside of RollerCoin whereas RLT does not.
The next best or most currency is Ethereum BUT remember that ETH has high gas fees so make sure that it's a coin you want to mine. MATIC, Binance, Bitcoin, and DOGE are the last in line today. Some other things to consider when looking at this is the long-term earnings, potential, gas fees, and history. So whatever currency you decide on, I would try to commit to it 100%. Personally, when you break up your earnings (unless you are one of the top players on RollerCoin) it makes the earnings come in much quicker and with a volatile market, it may be important to build up and dump.
How to Do these Calculations
If this has been helpful, I have some screenshots to walk you through doing these calculations at home. First here is was it looks like from Rollerbuddy:

When you are looking for these numbers the first part is finding the network power. This can be done by clicking on the down arrow next to network power and finding the currency you are wanting to calculate. Next, you have to enter your desired goal power. That is the amount of power you have - either total or partial if you are splitting it between multiple currencies. This is found under "My Power" and you can see I have 2.102 PH/s but only used 2 PH/s for mine since it was a nice round number and it still illustrates the calculation. Lastly, you have to enter the block reward for the desired coin, this one is nice because it's preloaded but it's always a good idea to double-check. For instance, this week RollerCoin is giving double rewards for BTC and the block reward was actually 60000 instead of 30000. In order to find the block reward, you have to change the currency shown next to your wallet (upper left-hand side of the screen next to the awesome RollerHamster).
This visual is what everything was currently when I did the calculations with the only change being that I used 2 PH/s for my total power. Feel free to give it a try and see if you come up with the same conclusion. If you do, then you've done it correctly!

Fun Season 3 Mentions
Season 3 has been a delight so far. After Season 2 I was both excited and nervous but the RollerCoin team has done a fantastic job. I've mentioned free parts I've found from playing games. I've also found a free miner and .01 RollerToken all for playing games. In order to see if you've received a reward, you have to let the game "validate" before going to another game. Yes, it takes a few more seconds than just clicking on a new game but the rewards are worth it!

Another perk from this season was the addition of content creators. There are at least 4 content creators I've checked out in various languages. One of my personal favorites so far has been Waffles @Wafflesgoodboy (on Twitter) and here is one of his videos where he updates us on what Season 3 has in store:
