The SEC has recently issued a number of enforcement actions, many of which were lodged against ICOs that took place in 2017.  It was remarkable to see Security and Exchange Commissioner Hester M. Peirce make a public dissent againt Mark Cuban and Ashton Kutcher's project Unikrn.  Her demur was rationally reasoned to advance her push for a crypto safe harbor exemption that will protect blockchain based businesses from the crushing force of securities regulation seeking to raise money for their projects.  The stories on the Unikrn ruling and Commissioner Peirce's dissent can be found in this week's newsletter.  An in-depth look at the crypto safe harbor can be found below:
