The Invictus NFT Lab - backed by Invictus Capital, pioneers in the digital asset space who manage over $200 million of investor assets - is proud to unveil its first nonfungible token (NFT) project that combines the best of fine art and blockchain tech. Markets are reacting favorably to this morning's announcement that Ubisoft would become the first major video game publisher to create in-game NFTs. Shares of the French company are trading 4% higher today. But Tezos, its blockchain partner, is the real winner. Current director of the Central Intelligence Agency William Burns said his predecessor at the government agency-initiated projects focused on gathering intelligence on cryptocurrency. Fielding a question on crypto at the Wall Street Journal CEO Council Summit on Monday, Burns said the CIA was looking to add expertise in cryptocurrencies and blockchain to its team of intelligence analysts in addition to communicating with industry experts. The organizers of Art X Lagos, a West Africa art exhibition, recently kickstarted a non-fungible token (NFT) art fair that features the works of African artists drawn from more than six countries. In a statement made on Art X Lagos' website, the organizers argue that blockchain is now providing digital artists with an opportunity to sell their work.
