NFTs have been all over my social media recently. Cryptoart is a digital art piece that is attached to a cryptocurrency blockchain and then sold or traded on that cryptocurrency platform (such as Bitcoin, Ethereum, Tether, etc.). However, It is estimated that a single NFT has the same carbon footprint as one gas-fueled car traveling a little over 600 miles.

Crypto collectibles platform NBA Top Shot has exploded in popularity in recent weeks. The demand has caused technical headaches for Dapper Labs, forcing it to rethink Top Shot's developmental roadmap and approach to pack drops. Ripple CEO Brad Garlinghouse has issued a statement announcing the fintech firm and MoneyGram International have together decided to "wind down" their partnership. However, the March 8 statement noted that both companies are committed to revisiting some form of partnership together in the future.

US lawmakers are once again seeking clarity on cryptocurrencies and regulation. proposed bill would create a working group to evaluate U.S. cryptocurrency regulations with input from the SEC and CFTC. Congress may soon try to clarify digital asset regulation in the U.S. Reps. Patrick McHenry (R-N.C.) and Stephen Lynch (D-Mass.) introduced legislation Tuesday to create a working group composed of industry experts and representatives from the U.S. This story and many more can be found in full below:
