Object class: Euclid

Imagine that you have just been hired by the SCP Foundation, and, after passing through countless objects capable of offering you fates worse than death, you are assigned to take care of a simple room. “A piece of cake”, you might be thinking, especially after comparing it to the tough-to-kill reptile or the living peanut-shaped statue. When you get there, you realize your mistake. The “room” you must take care of is a large shapeless mass of flesh with a door-like entrance. Welcome to SCP-002's containment room: the living room.

the living room

SCP-002 resembles a huge ball of flesh with a metal hatch, where inside it is a room made solely of organic materials of human origin, such as flesh and bone furniture, fur and hair curtains and pillows, human skin books, among other things. Whenever a person enters the room, an anomalous event occurs where he is transformed into meat furniture. This effect does not occur with plants, animals or corpses, only with living human beings.

the living room

Inside, the room looks like a normal living room, but after paying a little attention, you'll notice that they're made from human parts.

Some experiments were carried out with D-class employees, including inserting them into the entity. Instead of finding the employees leaving the entity in the normal way, all that remained of the employees were books in a strange language, two lamps, a TV set, a radio, a rug, some children's toys and a potted plant.

SCP-002 is to be kept connected to a power source at all times, which appears to put it in recharge mode. In the event of an electrical failure, the energy barrier the object is in must be closed immediately and adjacent areas must be evacuated. When power is restored, there should be flashes of X-rays and ultraviolet rays until the object goes back into charging mode.

The installation must be maintained at all times at negative atmospheric pressure. Teams of at least two members must always be present in the holding cell, and must also maintain physical contact with each other, to confirm the presence of each other, since, in the vicinity of the object, sensory perceptions can be impaired.

Employees below level 3 must be prevented from approaching the object, unless they have written authorization from at least two (2) external administrators of level 4 or higher. Teams that have such a waiver must be accompanied by 5 (five) level 3 or higher security personnel. After contact, people who interacted with the object (and survived) must be taken to a distance of at least 5 km from the object, receive psychiatric and psychological support, and, if approved, taken back to their respective functions.

Any individual who enters the room and is unable to leave within a few moments must be considered dead, as well as anyone who disappears in its vicinity. Don't try to get them back: they're no longer human (unless you want a desk made out of human femurs and ribs, or a nice set of human-skin pillows).

Anomalies to which the object may be related

Although the living room does not have a known origin, there are a number of objects, cataloged or not as SCP, that may have some connection with the creature, even if remote. I will try to show the main ones, and I leave it to the reader's discretion whether or not there is a link between these objects.

Gore Cube

gore cube

The gore cube is a creature cataloged by Trevor Henderson, and it is a cube of muscle-like tumor mass, giving off a smell of rotting meat. Still about its composition, it is claimed that it may have a dark matter core, which would explain its abilities and anomalous behavior. Some of the Gore Cube's characteristics, such as its anomalous properties and the fact that it devours living beings to grow and evolve, can be found in SCP-002.

Gore Cube's body is constantly decomposing, so he looks for living creatures, such as dogs, cats, horses, and even humans, to reassemble his body. This body floats a few centimeters off the ground, and moves slowly, always dragging viscera and attracting flies and other scavengers close to it. The anomaly has gravitational properties.

The anomaly's physical body has physical properties, and can be destroyed (temporarily) by traditional means such as fire or gunfire, but touching the Gore Cube is not a smart decision: the gravity inside the body will be distorted until you die. This includes gravity reversal, the creation of singularities (black holes) of durations of less than a second (causing large holes in the victim's body), or simply the crushing of internal organs by a sudden increase in Earth's gravity to Jupiter levels. or the Sun itself. That's how he kills his victims. However, only the target, when touching, will be affected by the gravitational distortions of the Gore Cube.

When you see the Gore Cube, the most recommended thing is to run, however, if you are cornered, you may be forced to sacrifice a living being made of meat, such as your pet or that guy who always steals your snack in the company cafeteria.

Blood Siren Head

blood siren head

A variant of the Siren Head made of flesh and blood, having several exposed muscles, just like the living room. Its characteristic smell of meat entering a state of decomposition ends up getting in the way of their hunts, perhaps to compensate for its great speed compared to other Siren Heads, in addition to regenerating more easily when consuming certain volumes of meat.

SCP-4158 - Big Charlie

Big Charlie

There are two "Big Charlies". One known as SCP-4158, another just as "Big Charlie". There is no consensus on whether they are the same creature described by different sources or whether they are distinct creatures from different universes.

Big Charlie is a mutated bovine whose body is literally a giant tumor. Its skin is transparent to the point where you can see the creature's organs at work, it is extremely fragile and can be ripped even with the fingernails, and its twisted face features large partially blind eyes and a beak-shaped mouth. Its behavior is practically identical to that of a normal bovine, including being friendly with other bovines. Despite this, there are many strange things about Big Charlie.

SCP-4158

First of all, Big Charlie is practically immortal. They have already tried to sacrifice him at birth, to spare him the pain of a slow death from deformities. Upon being hit by the shot, his regeneration kicked in, immediately healing the hole. Large volumes of meat can and should be removed from the object every day, so that it doesn't accumulate, rot, or... become something worse...

Second, Big Charlie is capable of eating anything, and when I say “anything,” I mean anything. Bricks, grass, dirt, hay, garbage, wood or even meat enter this freak's diet.

And now comes the point where the two accounts differ. While the Big Charlie imprisoned by the SCP Foundation has no reports of this in its reference file, the "other" Big Charlie from time to time expels pieces of living flesh, which acquire consciousness. The vast majority of these entities are known only as "lil' nugget", or "little piece of meat", and are fragile, and can be killed by any accidental hit. The appearance of these entities is similar to a piece of meat in an early stage of decomposition, but many have eyes, or even mouths. In general, the creatures, in their initial variation, are friendly with humans, but other variants, such as "the lamb", are extremely aggressive and dangerous.

Big Charlie is violent and aggressive towards any entities that have been born from his flesh, trying to execute them as soon as they are seen, without exception.

The origin of Big Charlie, rather than a malformation of the fetus (as claimed by the creature's original owners), is believed to be a genetic experiment using anomalous technology to obtain good quality meat at low cost. Evidence for this is that traces of chicken DNA were found in the creature's DNA.
