What's P2E and the future of gaming.

P2E games are a type of game where you get to earn tangible rewards that can be taken out of the game, the more you play and win. This is what my parents would have feared when they said" stop playing so many games because you can't make a living from it", well " mom, dad sorry but now you can." Ever since the invention of Blockchain, the industry that had huge potential to revolutionize was gaming. well, here we are, the proliferation of P2E games. It seems like almost any gaming coming out now has some way of earning money. but since you are earning money most play-to-earn games require you to put down an initial investment, meaning you are starting at a net loss. This means that a lot of people with not a big budget, have to pick carefully which games to spend their time and money on.

The world is waking up to crypto, get in early

this weekend in my city, I had to opportunity to attend a future commerce exhibition where a lot more blockchain booths are popping up, as an increasing number of people are being introduced to crypto. if you ask me it's more my bombardment. I go anywhere and it's all crypto haha. One of the only gaming booths I saw at this event was a game called "Metasnake".

I use to be a big console gamer at my home where I grew up but now I don't have any near me and I rarely spend a long time playing games as a form of entertainment but since P2E my interest has risen a bit since it is connected to blockchain technology.

I did play a few rounds and lost most of them, but I did get to snag a win in my final round. Woah that was exciting, I had not played games in a long time.

How do you play

The game is quite simple actually, there is no need for any special equipment in the beginning so you don't have to purchase anything with tokens, this makes it accessible to anyone. for me, this is a huge plus, but anything that has this high of an upside comes with risk. i have never seen this game before so i thought it was a new release but then the representative said, no it has been out for a couple of months. they currently have about two hundred thousand players so that's a lot. this is important because the way to earn money is by constantly competing with other players.

remember the snake game on the Nokia phone. yes, the gameplay resembles that, just with better graphics and now you are competing with someone every round. every round the game matches you with another player and you compete to see who eats the most coins etc, you are allowed to battle and knock coins that have been already collected out of your opponent. you do it in a blockade field until the timer finishes and when it does the winner gets rewards, the loser goes empty-handed. then you check your position on the leaderboard, remember when I said there are over two hundred thousand currently. Yes, you are ranked on a leaderboard of everyone. the game rep said every two weeks, where you rank on the board determines how much earning you can get. So good luck to everyone because it going to be a big challenge.
