Well its official. Autonomi Network actually has lift off.

Finally  TGE Feb 6th 2025 has been confirmed by Maidsafe Management.

Expect January to be full of announcements, press and interviews prior to their Token Generation Event "TGE" January 27th, 2025. (it used to be Jan 21st, hey it's software, go figure!)

 Previously I had said 'Today' anyone can github download the  0.5.3 node launchpad for MacOS, MS Windows 10/11 or Linux for both AMD or Intel 64bit processors and even  64bit ARM processors, run a reasonable amount of antnodes (now version 0.3.3 in the early access version) given their ISP bandwidth and star earning atto test tokens today. These tokens will be convertible by Airdrop after January 25th, 2024 Token Genesis Event 'TGE to ERC-20 ANT tokens, with reward transactions handled by Ethereum roll-up Layer 2 Blockchain king Arbitrum. \

All the above is true, except the date has shifted to Feb.6th, 2025 and we are now running 0.5.5 software for antnodes, awaiting a production release tomorrow before entering TGE on Thursday. My screenshot below this Sunday, pre-TGE running 4 nodes on Ubuntu 24.04.01 LTS

Attos  which is A REAL MEASUREMENT UNIT, are currently earned  running antnodes on your system wit hte above Node Launchpad , where these nodes are configurable by expert Node Operators with a more feature rich Terminal accessed cli with a program called antctl. Attos are  pre TGE tokens are converted to ANT with pre-determined conversion rate at TGE dropped into the same Wallet ID, this time on the production Sepoliia Roll-up Ethereum Layer Two (2) network using the same Wallet setup but to that specific account. Setup of antnodes using the Node Launchpad is trivial and well documented at www.autonomi.com.

Bux, Maidsafe's one year CEO, previously the COO of Gala, and recently the CEO of Gala Music, will lead the charge, with Maidsafe's David Irvine playing colour commentary, and Jim Collinson leading the Product Strategy Pitch, as Autonomi Network gets rolled out next month.

Myself, after the past six months testing Autonomi Network beta  release 'waves' and most recent early access, is like many Maidsafe OGs looking forward to the much anticipated 'DAVE'  Autonomi Network  upload client(it's a code name) to be  released in early January, together with the WEB3 SDK and API first version, allowing anyone to start building distributed applications, across what is anticipated by those "OGs in the know",  to be a rapidly growing Autonomi Network of Noderunners  running antnodes in the millions, by year end 2025.

So WHY is Autonomi Network So Special?

In my books as a Maidsafe OG circa 2017,  with first hand community member testing the past six months,  the Maidsafe authored Autonomi Network  has morphed(previously the Safe Network) and emerged to be the VERY first passive income generating machine to be quantum secure that I know in the cryptosphere. In light of the fact Google's Quantum Willow Chip is here now, that's a big deal.

Second, Autonomi Network is not just another Storage play (ie Storj or Filecoin et al),  Autonomi Network is the VERY first new OSI Layer 7/6/5  ultra private XOR addressed CAN overlay network for the existing Internet which scales truly distributed WEB3 Solutions in a big way, where we as crypto developers will see the first SDK and API for such a monumental WEB3 beast early in January 2025.

The Autonomi Network antnodes are in fact the mini routers of the Autonomi Network as well, GOSSIPing away to always keep 5 copies of data on the network for rapid download in Kademlia enabled stich-up style, as antnodes come and go for what ever reason,  getting faster as more Noderunners add more antnodes in a linear fashion, just like your favourite watch for free video clients (Flixtor anyone?) 

Autonomi Network is poised to be a real game changer in 2025 for distributed solution developers.

Autonomi will save these WEB3 developers lots of time,  and if such developers wish to also run a fleet of antnodes, they will also lower their monthly cost of infrastructure by simply running their own data structures and backups on Autonomi Network to support almost any distributed solution at scale, worldwide.

In reality, any current or future crypto project could be setup on Autonomi, layer 1 or 2, and super scale, in a secure distributed manner, never having to worry about Quantum Hack Proof resistance. 

Maidsafe the makers of Autonomi Network have truly gone where no other crypto developer dared go, which is fix the Internet and give the Internet back to the people.

MaidSafe in building Autonomi Network, have indeed shown they have mastered Protocol Labs p2plib UDP "Firewall" hole punching and added the interesting twist of using QUIC with rate flow control over UDP in each antnode, which allows the whole network to scale efficiently at extremely low power, CPU % utilization and RAM use, adjusting the pace of GOSSIP messaging reliably, like no other network out there, to ensure robustness  of the Autonomi Network, even as Noderunners provision and decommission the biggest number of antnodes for whatever reason.

Run a Fleet of Autonomi antnodes to help end the FED, bottom up? Why not!

The Autonomi Network DAO is unstoppable too, with no need to use TCP, ever. 

I myself am running a couple of their antnodes on this daily driver as I write this post, running the latest interaction of their early access, where the atto test tokens I earn are converted 1:1 to ANT tokens after the TGE, likely by Airdrop to the wallet already being used to run test attos, or most ever wallet you want to use that supports ERC-20 .

The Autonomi Network new found passive earning machi is the antnode itself, where each antnode needs 64GB of disk safe and about 250mB of RAM. Anyone with an old PC can run Linux with just 8GB RM and an older processor and earn sufficient ANT ERC-20 Tokens to pay for the one time cost of their permanent file uploads, by sharing all the storage of the system to the Autonomi Network.

Autonomi Network is definitely worth running just a passive income  ERC-20  ANT Token earning machine, even if you don't want to upload files with the upcoming 'DAVE' Upload client.

Uploads are paid for once, that's it, downloads are free for ever, from anywhere on any machine at anytime. Right now on the test network, which is not full at all the cost to upload is trivial, so I expect to be the same after TGE and permanent thereafter.

The Autonomi Foundation is handing out 1 million tokens during this last phase of  upload testing as Dave shows up in the early part of January, so its chance for all those familiar with the Maidsafe effort  as the 2ND  Ever ICO effort back in the day late 2014, to get on board and earn, but also a chance for any  non-techie newbie to also earn ERC-20 ANT Tokens from the Autonomi Network.

Autonomi is quite easy to startup a say five (5) antnodes and share your extra disk space, RAM and CPU cycles as well as a part of your ISP bandwidth, especially if you have recent PC with 16GB of RAM and say 512GB of SSD Storage.
