With hind sight looking back,
I had a revelation or more like a malformed brain fart, which I took a few minutes to refine..
So hear me out, maybe some of you bright boys & girls out there can work this a bit more so it isn't so sticky..
with the emergence of NFTs,
NFTs could hold the answer to secure private Evoting in 2024 US Elections which could in theory
eliminate the cheat,
I am just thinking out loud here:
The 2024 election fix might look like this cryptonauts
where an individual could
With a cleverly crafted Unique NFT generator app hosted on some secure blockchain
create a unique NFT for themselves
which becomes their NFT voting token
which the owner of the newly minted unique NFT can register with the voting commisssion in their area
online
registering the Unique NFT with a zero knowledge proof check...
where the NFT is generated by combining unique ID numbers together with photo data to create a numerically unique private encrypted GUID
combined together with a unique pictorial scramble created from the scan of each current ID...
just brainstorming here...
the trick though imo is building an algo tool with easy to use client app which can
scan,
ingest,
collate and
do the scramble
to create the personal NFT ID Token.., maybe it should look like an Album Cover so its also fun!
The idea is the day of the election
the Unique NFT "ID" Holder logs in to the online voting,
or
shows up personally at the voting both
shows the Pictorial Scramble,
which matches the registered one on the voting list,
then the voter is issued a unique online or paper ballot to vote,
which gets counted manually,
and/or is processed with a secure tabulation system, one that only recognizes the UNique NFT token's GUID which is embedded in the pictorial scramble presented on the smartphone to be scanned by the tabulation system..
Oh yeah its actually possible today, to combine the above with existing OSI Layer 5/6 Application and port RT Event Streaming Zoning technologies over over ancient but secure SS7 (Plain old Telephone POTS) signalling to make the voting results instant.... without using TCP/IP.. but I digress ;)
The idea salad above to secure the vote in 2024 in the US I agree, needs a lot of work. ;)
That said, my spidey sense tells me there is a solution in those words above to our bigger world wide voting problems...
Cuz imo, we the people are outta time and,
if the people want to get a hold of this world for the people, guided by the people,
then maybe there is something here in this post,
that can help cryptonauts build the Unique NFT ID for voting
to fix this voting cheating shite, once and for all.
