Well hello to all of you reading this post as always. This is my overall fourth blog and the third one about brave browser and the bat ecosystem, the other two can be found here if you wanna check them out. Wishing all of my readers a good day and let's get started on the topic.
In a recent tweet Binance announced it's partnership with the Brave browser today which can be found in this tweet. I think all of you guys are aware about Binance, the global blockchain company behind the world’s largest cryptocurrency exchange by trading volume and users.
What Does This Partnership Mean For The End User?
With this new partnership the users will be able to see the binance trading widget in their new tab page of the brave desktop browser which will be available from the 24th march onward on the nightly version of the browser making Brave the only browser that offers integrated functionality for buying and trading cryptocurrency within the browser itself as you can see from the below image.
The Binance widget present in the brave browser will give Brave users various options to manage cryptocurrencies, including buying, depositing, trading, and viewing summaries without leaving the browser itself. Users will be able to trade cryptocurrencies such as Bitcoin, Ethereum, Ripple, Litecoin, and many others supported by Binance.
Additionally, the Binance widget is built into Brave and is not a loaded iframe (remotely embedded document), which preserves the user’s privacy as it is always a priority with brave. API calls will only be made into Binance if the user authenticates via OAuth and interacts with the widget.
With this partnership, the cryptocurrency trading which can be a hassle for new users can be made easy by integrating Binance into the Brave browser making the process seamless and simple said Brendan Eich, CEO and co-founder of Brave.
He further added "By bringing a leading exchange like Binance directly into the browser, Brave is taking cryptocurrency trading mainstream and enabling users to conduct transactions with ease."
Further the Binance CEO Changpeng Zhao (‘CZ’) said "The Binance widget on Brave’s privacy-oriented browser instills a safer way to buy and sell crypto and also reduces user friction to onboard, trade and interact with the Binance ecosystem." stating the importance of this partnership.
So with this partnership TRADING of crypto will be a lot more easier and privacy focused.
Availability For The End User
Well an early version of this new feature is available from today i.e. the 24th in Brave’s Nightly desktop version, and will be released for general desktop availability in April. The new tab page Binance widget will be enabled by default, but users can turn it off and hide it directly from the new tab page or by managing their settings if they wish. Availability on mobile platforms will be announced at a later date.
Hope you all get equipped with this latest info and sorry for this long article. Well share your opinion and views about this new Brave partnership. With saying all that I am signing off for now, hope you all have a great day.
