In July Stratis launched Cirrus Sidechain and Smart Contracts in C#.
What does this mean ?
The launch of the Cirrus Sidechain extends functionality for businesses operating on the Stratis platform. It includes the first smart contracts platform built entirely from the ground up in native C# on Microsoft’s .NET framework, combining the most popular enterprise programming language and the most widely-used enterprise framework.Token of Cirrus network is Cirrus ( CRS ) and is fully backed 1:1 with Strat.
What do you need ?
1. You need a stratis core wallet ( last version ) Download it from here
2. You need a Cirrus core Wallet ( last version ) Download it from here for MAC /Windows
You need to wait until both wallets are fully sync ! 100% . They can run in same time , so no problem using them.
How to transfer :
Stratis to Cirrus
"You can now make transfers to the Cirrus Sidechain from your Stratis Core wallet by entering the mainchain federation address and entering your Cirrus address generated from the Cirrus Core Wallet

On sidechain Address : Put your CIRRUS address That's all.
Take in mind that your CIRRUS will appear after 500 confimations ( around 8 hours)"
Cirrus to Stratis
"The Cirrus Token can then be safely exchanged back to the Stratis Token via the Send to Mainchain dialog within Cirrus Core by entering the Sidechain Federation Address.

After 240 confirmations your Stratis coins will appear in your stratis wallet."
What can you do via Cirrus wallet:
With Cirrus wallet you can deploy and make your own token with few clicks !! Tokens are SRC-20 . Just open wallet go to "token Management and Create your own token. To can create your own token you will need CRS . Creating one token is around 0.016 CRS .
Creating a token will take around 3-5 minutes.
Then you can use it and transfer to your friends ( this is just for fun ).
Being able to create tokens with only few clicks for sure is a plus for Stratis platform and we all can see that they want to make Blockchain easy for all.
