I created this track back in September 2024, but at that time I wasn’t active on Publish0x in the music theme.
My idea of the wareHOUSE style is a combination of Eurodance + Industrial House elements. Overall, in this style, I want to hear a 'heavy' & yet club-like, danceable sound.
The song itself is in Ukrainian.

Why does the House music style have such a strange name? And why did I decide to name its subgenre 'Warehouse'?
There is a historical reference here.
The name 'House' in music comes from the Warehouse club in Chicago, where in the 1980s, DJ Frankie Knuckles began playing a new type of music that became known as house music.
Here are a few key points that explain the origin of this name:
The Warehouse club became the center of a new music scene, and people started calling the music played there 'house music.' The name 'Warehouse' eventually shortened to 'House.'
Frankie Knuckles, known as the 'Godfather of House,' played mixes of disco, soul, and European electronic music. His mixing style and unique approaches to music-making defined the early sound of house.
The reinvention of disco: After the decline of disco's popularity in the late 1970s, house became a logical continuation of the genre, offering a new sound for dance floors (with a focus on rhythmic beats and synthesizers, giving the style its distinctiveness). Since then, house has become immensely popular and spread worldwide, spawning numerous subgenres and influencing various styles of electronic music.
The name 'house' stuck well because the style was initially associated more with the underground culture and was played mainly at private house parties, often in improvised clubs and basement spaces. This format created an atmosphere of closeness and community among listeners, further contributing to the genre’s popularity. One could say that 'house' was a symbol of the underground movement, so the name, associated with house parties, naturally caught on and became established.
'Warehouse' means 'storage'. Knowing this, it’s no longer surprising that English speakers preferred the name 'house.'
The Warehouse in Chicago no longer functions as a nightclub. It closed in 1983 due to stricter laws regulating clubs and bars.
However, the building that once housed the legendary club where house music was born has been granted landmark status. This protects it from any changes or demolition.
Currently, the building is used as office space.
