Welcome back! These are 3 headlines that stood out for me this week. 

1) Candy Digital releases roadmap

Following up on last week's Candy Digital news, the company has released a roadmap! Some information (most notably timelines) was not included so far, but the devs have promised to share that information as soon as it is ready. The next milestone is to open a marketplace for secondary market transactions. Based on what I can see, the project is in a very early beta phase. Does this make it a good time to start acquiring Candy assets?

2) NBA Top Shot's many announcements including a Gift Back

It's been a very busy past 2 weeks at NBA Top Shot, and they made some huge waves with their plans for 2022:

• Setting a maximum limit of 10k Legendary Moments for Series 3
• Providing targeted airdrops for full sets and for Marketplace activity
• Offering a higher frequency of challenges with new types targeting different tiers of collectors
• Adding bidding feature, contributing to more liquidity for collectors
• Introducing new ways to flex your collection (hello metaverse!) and an upgrade to the Showcase builder
• Releasing a new onboarding experience for new collectors

Most notably, the devs announced a one-time Gift Back of 5% based on your net marketplace spend to accounts in good standing! 

Lastly, now is a great time to start collecting NBA Top Shot because of their latest promo:

Any account created between the start of the NBA Season (October 19th) and the end of the year (December 31st) that has completed identity verification and completes any two Challenges between today and the end of the year will be awarded $100 in Dapper Balance in early January to spend on packs or in the Marketplace.
