Having combed through this week's updates in the cryptosphere, these are 3 headlines that stood out for me.
1) All eyes are on Candy Digital
Candy Digital seemingly appeared out of nowhere to snatch the MLB and MLBPA trading card rights away from Topps, who have held those rights for the past 70 years! As an aggressive predator in an industry traditionally dominated by legacy owners, Candy Digital is proving to be a name to watch for over the next few years.
2) 3LAU makes good on his promise to more fans who bought his NFTs
International DJ Justin Blau (stage name 3LAU) recently finalized a deal to give away 50% of the streaming royalty rights from one of his new releases. He promised similar news for his fans who bought some of his other NFTs.
His tweet on Dec 12 was simple but powerful.

3) NBA Top Shot announces their next rare and legendary drops
There has been a lot of news from NBA Top Shot this week, but I want to focus on their next 2 pack drops.
The first Series 3 Rare drop will take the form of their iconic Metallic Gold LE (MGLE) series:
