Franklin Templeton, this giants investment fund with more than 1 trillion dollars in assets under management, have applied for an index spot combining Bitcoin and Ethereum on the same ETF to the SEC.
If the proposal get approved, it will be the first one having both assets in one Fund helping investors to choose between one or another assets to secure their shares. It means, they will have just one fund with both ETF combined making easier to clients hold Bitcoin or Bitcoin on the same product.
Right now the ETF market have Blackrock for example, with two product separate in Bitcoin, called IBIT ishares and in spot Ethereum ETF dubbed ETHA, where investors choose which one separately want to invest on. In the proposal of the Franklin Templeton it won't have two separate products but one on which users can buy Bitcoin ishares or Ethereum ishares.
The dynamics and real management of the assets will be available on their website upon SEC approval and if that happens, one more big player is getting into Spot Bitcoin and Ethereum ETFs. This my friends, is huge! Remember:
