WazirX is a mess! This is the correct manner to start this article as things that are happening on the Indian exchange are far to be normal.

On July 18, they suffered a major hack (internal job or not, WazirX staff must be accountable) and lost nearly $235M. Now, all subsequent development of this story is a complete mess, owners trying to run on their responsibilities, misleading information, inaccurate repayments, and more.

The dispute between Zanmai/Zettai, the supposedly owners of the platform is a complete clown show and right now the Zettai PTE, a company registered in Singapore is claiming that Binance have its "hand" on responsibilities to WazirX customers. According to the owner of Zettai, Binance have acquired WazirX and have it's quote on the mess. Binance on other hand is denying and showing, with A plus B, that Zettai PTE is lying with all their teeth out.

Binance started negotiations to acquire Wazir but due to Zettai "plays" the agreement never been concluded, and for that the largest exchange in the world can't be responsible for something that doesn't belong to them. The crypto platform won't be the WazirX saviour and the today article on their blog is to clarify about that. Binance categorically mention that WazirX is owned by Zanmai, who is recognized by the Indian government and Zettai PTE, based in Singapore who is the entity running things on the Indian exchange.

This two entities have the common sense and obligation to repay all customers money independent from memorandums or not, as that is clients funds. All what they are doing is dodging the bullet and playing with people sentiment. Binance won't pay any money to creditors of WazirX, period. Hmm, great movie by WazirX staff but each day they are proving that something really bad is behind that hack, orchestrated or not it seems to be more an inside job. Remember:
